Well here's my first shot here. While I said Kratos and Zelos as my characters, everyone makes an appearance, it's just that it is a story about Kratos and Zelos falling in love during the ToS plot line.
Expect vivid rape scenes from everyone's beloved psychopath Mithos. If that isn't your cup of tea then please leave, I don't want to make anyone blow chunks.

Kratos made it through the slightly muggy air of Meltokio towards the chosen's home. He passed many a drunken fool, both rich and poor as he made his way through the streets.
He sighed inwardly, these people... no matter what there station in life they all figured that they could solve their problems with booze... He just hoped the chosen hadn't also opted for such a method.
He came up to the door and knocked. A moment later Zelos' butler answered. He seemed surprised at Kratos' presence, but allowed him entrance none the less.
The butler then went past where the others slept to his masters chambers and knocked lightly, not sure whether the woman Zelos had invited earlier had remained.
"Hm? What is it?" Zelos called out, getting up from his - for once - empty bed and going to open the door. "Sebastian? What's going on?" he asked the butler who stood there. Unlike most of the folks around, he hadn't been drinking. Well, not much, anyway.
Sebastian bowed slightly to his master. "Ah... master Aurion is here to see you..."
"Is he, now?" Zelos sighed, wondering what Kratos could want with him right now. "Fine, I guess I'd better go see what he wants." Zelos followed Sebastian down the stairs, and came face-to-face with one of the people he least wanted to see. "Hey, gramps, what's up?"
Kratos glared at the 'gramps' comment, but let it slide. "You know why I am here chosen."
Zelos sighed, "Are you still on about that? I told you, I stick with the strongest side. Lloyd's a nice kid, it's too bad he's caught up in this, but the fact is that they don't stand a chance against Cruxis' power." If devotion to one's child made a person this blind to simple logic, Zelos decided, he was never having one. Or at least never getting attached.
Kratos sighed. "Let's discuss this somewhere more private."
Zelos looked around, "Got anywhere in mind? The rooms around here are all in use."
"A full house... we could go to that little café that you showed me... a while ago." Kratos said.
Zelos stilled. He didn't really want to go back through the memories associated with that time, the hopes he'd had that were dashed when his instructor left... but he couldn't think of an adequate reason to refuse. "That old place?" he said casually, "Sure, why not? Lead the way, old man."
Kratos nodded. "It would have been a long time." He lead them through the streets to the café called 'Quand la lune est noire'.
Looking at the small café that was nearly not there Kratos sighed. This place brought back some... nostalgia...
Zelos sat down at a small table in the corner, determinedly ignoring the memories pushing at the edge of his consciousness, memories of a time when he'd been someone else. He didn't want to know what the person he had been then would think of what he'd become. "So, what else did you want to say?" he asked the older man.
"I wanted to talk to you about your decision." Kratos said, staring determinedly at the young man before him. He could remember when he saw him as no more than a boy... mentally he gave himself a shake, there was no time for that now.
Zelos shrugged, "What else is there to say? If you think I'm gonna turn against the winning side just because someone says they're doing the right thing, you obviously don't understand the Meltokian mindset. I do what's best for me. All I care about is not being the Chosen anymore."
"Is that all you really want chosen? These people you walk with, Lloyd, they haven't once cared that you were the chosen" Kratos said carefully.
Zelos smirked bitterly. "Yeah, that makes what, seven people in this whole world who don't care about my status. How nice."
"And what about Seles? Do you really want her to take on the title you so greatly hate? Would you place that curse upon her?" Kratos shook his head. "Lloyd is working on a way to undo the damage Cruxis has done, to free chosens from there fate, isn't that what you want?"
Zelos flinched. Okay, so there was one other thing he cared about. "I... well... she's always wanted it. She'd... she'd be fine. She's stronger than I am. Seles can handle it, better than I can. She'd be the kind of Chosen people want to see. They'd love her." Zelos didn't sound very certain, though.
"The perfect chosen." Kratos said coldly. "The lamb brought before the wolf." He glared at the young man. "She would die."
Zelos shivered, looking away. "I..." he trailed off. So he was scared, he already knew he was a coward... but could he really be so craven as to put his little sister into that kind of situation? Even Zelos had his limits. He hung his head, defeated. "Fine'," he said bitterly, "You win. Congratulations, you have yourself a new puppet to play with."
Kratos sighed. "Zelos..."
"What?" Zelos responded in the same tone as before, refusing to look up, "What else do you have to say here? You got what you wanted; I'll help them. Aren't you done with me now?"
Kratos sighed again, this time running his hand through his hair. "Zelos, I don't intend you to be my puppet... I want you to just consider... I just... didn't want you... to..."
Zelos looked up this time, confused. "Didn't want me to... what?" he asked cautiously.
Kratos looked away, an unreadable emotion crossing his eyes. Shaking his head again, this time more than mentally he looked Zelos straight in the eyes. "I don't want you to die."
Zelos was speechless, confused, transfixed by Kratos' gaze, with an emotion in it that he couldn't interpret. He opened his mouth to respond, but couldn't find anything to say. After a long moment, finally, he managed to whisper a single word, "...why...?" Why did Kratos care whether he lived or died? Why now?
Kratos shrugged. "Is it unnatural for one to not want another to die?" He kept his voice calm, but his traitorous eyes gave way to what he felt.
Zelos snorted, trying to retreat. "Not like you ever cared before," he replied with a trace of bitterness. He could see the expression in Kratos' eyes, and it frightened him as much as it intrigued him. He didn't know what to do, and so he was trying to back away... and yet part of him wanted to explore this new possibility, wanted to reach out... He suppressed the impulse. He'd been hurt before.
Kratos winced, but did not deny it. "Forgive me..."
Zelos sighed, "I... don't know. I trusted you before, you know. I... don't know if I can, anymore." But something in him wanted to, he could feel it, a wavering hope that he thought had died five years ago.
"I'm not asking for your complete trust, not like last time. I just want you to be able to..." He stopped and sighed. "I realize everything I say to you now doesn't even begin to make up for what happened... I just don't want you to become jaded because of it, now that there is someone who can help you..."
"Oh, is that all?" Zelos asked dryly, "Because I'll be helping Lloyd whether I trust you or not, you've seen to that. And I do trust Lloyd; the kid doesn't have enough sense in him to be anything but honest in what he does. I just don't think he's strong enough to win." Zelos shrugged, "I can't believe I'm even doing this, really. Not like me to bet on the underdog." It wasn't like him to hope.
"Your companions may have woken to you missing chosen... you should return home." Kratos said, officially cutting of this conversation before it became too painful for either to bear.
Zelos nodded, suddenly a bit reluctant to leave without exploring some things a little further... but as always, Kratos was right. "Yeah, I better get going. See you later." He got up and walked out the door of the café, carefully keeping himself from looking back to see if Kratos was watching him leave.
Kratos sighed, ordering himself something hard to drink. Though things had gone well... in the end it still hadn't gone complete through...

It was late in the night when a message was sent to Zelos from Yggdrasil to come to Derris Kharlan.
Grumbling to himself the whole way, Zelos made the trip up to the floating comet and entered Yggdrasil's throne room. "You wanted to see me, my lord?"
Yggdrasil looked up at Zelos. "Ah... chosen." He said with a nearly sadistic smile. "How good to see you."
That smile was making Zelos a bit nervous, but he bowed formally, "You're too kind, my lord."
"I have gained a strange knowledge recently Zelos, something that does not please me..." Yggdrasil said moving up off from where he sat.
Zelos swallowed nervously, but with an effort, managed to keep his voice firm and steady. "Have you now, my lord? And what might that be?" Yggdrasil couldn't possibly have discovered what he and Kratos had been talking about the other night... unless of course Kratos had told him. But somehow, even if he didn't trust the Seraph, Zelos couldn't bring himself to believe that.
Yggdrasil's eyes stared straight through Zelos. "I have heard that you have been in contact with the renegades..."
Zelos faltered a bit, but recovered quickly. "My lord, if I had been in contact with the Renegades, I would have informed you of their movements. You know that my loyalty lies with you. You are the only one that can declare someone else the Chosen, and remove the burden from me. With that power that you hold over me, how could I ever be disloyal? It would be counter-productive."
"Is that true...?" Yggdrasil was suddenly in front of Zelos. "That is not what my sources have told me..."
Zelos held his ground; now that he'd told the lie, he had to stick with it to the end. "Your sources are wrong, then, my lord, or lying. I swear to you, I have had no contact with the Renegades."
"Oh, and what if the sources are myself?" Yggdrasil said with a glare.
Zelos' mind reeled. "M-my lord?" he managed, unable to keep the nervousness from his tone.
Yggdrasil smiled wickedly, like a cat before a terrified mouse. "I think that they speak the truth..." He said in a quiet tone, and like lightning grabbed Zelos' wrist.
Zelos nearly panicked, trying to tug his arm out of Yggdrasil's grasp. "I-I can explain, my lord!" he stammered frantically, mind racing to try to come up with some sort of explanation for whatever Yggdrasil had seen.
Yggdrasil lifted Zelos off his feet by his wrist. "I do not think I need you to explain what I saw, as it was very clear..."
Now Zelos was definitely panicking. He struggled and thrashed like a hooked fish in the angel lord's grasp, ignoring the pain in his arm in his desperation to escape. He'd seen what Yggdrasil was capable of doing to those who betrayed him. "Let- let go of me! Please, just- ack! Let go!"
Yggdrasil sneered, easily carrying the boy, which in his mind he considered him as, over to the 'bed' and threw him down. "I think you should be punished for your treachery..."
Zelos whimpered at the impact, but immediately rose and tried to flee, thinking only of escape now.
Yggdrasil flicked his wrist and a powerful spell immediately bound Zelos.
"Aagh!" Zelos cried as he collapsed, hands and feet bound by the spell. He looked up at his captor fearfully, trembling with the knowledge of what was to come.
Yggdrasil glared at his captive, leisurely moving towards him. "Zelos, you know escape is impossible, so why is it you decide to hurt your situation further?"
Zelos felt sick, as if a hole had opened in his stomach, but managed to reply. "Aheheh... hope springs eternal, I guess?" he said in a tone that might have been flippant, except that it came out rather squeaky.
Yggdrasil smiled, though there was no mirth in his eyes. "You are very stupid chosen."
Zelos flinched a bit, but with an effort kept himself from squirming against the spell that bound him. It wouldn't do him any good, and might make Yggdrasil angrier. "Can't argue with that," he muttered, looking down.
Yggdrasil sat at the edge of the bed a moments hesitation from Zelos. Still slowly he placed a hand on Zelos' head, then slowly ran through his hair. "You are very beautiful." he commented off hand.
Zelos did his best not to flinch, but couldn't suppress the shudder that ran through him at the deceptively gentle touch. He suppressed a whimper, wondering desperately when this nightmare would be over.
Yggdrasil smile deepened, a new emotion taking his eyes. Lust.
Zelos drew back as much as he could, pressing into the surface he lay on as though hoping he could somehow vanish through it. He thought he'd seen frightening expressions from Yggdrasil before, but none of them compared to this one.
Yggdrasil leaned over Zelos' trembling form, whispering into his ear. "Your beauty is very much like your mothers... she was an incredible woman..." He ran his tongue over his ear.
Zelos shivered at the touch, the sheer false intimacy of it, but Yggdrasil's words ignited a small spark of fury. "You... you bastard..." he growled, "Leave my mom out of this."
"Does it anger you? I was under the impression you hated her..." Yggdrasil said with a light chuckle.
"I..." Zelos couldn't continue. How could he explain what he didn't truly understand? He shuddered again, closing his eyes in defeat.
"I, in all my graciousness, shall give you one chance in redemption. Please me and I will allow you to live..." He whispered, lightly biting his ear.
Zelos flinched at the touch. Still trembling, he whispered, "As you wish... my lord."
Yggdrasil chuckled softly, lifting himself then releasing Zelos from his bind.
Zelos flexed his hands a bit, desperately trying not to think about what he'd just agreed to do. Although his freedom was no more than an illusion, the pretense of willingness made his situation that much more unbearable. "What does my lord wish of me?" he asked dully, sounding like one of the angel guards he'd passed on his way here.
Yggdrasil smiled wickedly again. "I am certain you already know chosen... after all you are no stranger to it."
Zelos nodded wearily, refusing to meet the angel lord's eyes. Slowly, trying to delay the inevitable, he removed his gloves, and began to undo the clasps on his coat.
Yggdrasil stared at the chosen, smiling as he undressed. He drank in his form.
Zelos shrugged the coat off after unbuttoning the last clasp, revealing the tight black top he wore underneath. Kicking off his boots one by one, he slowly peeled off the shirt, leaving his chest bare.
His hands trembled a bit as he reached for his belt buckle, and he hesitated. But there was no going back now, and so he slowly removed his belt, and slipped out of his baggy white trousers.
He sat there before Yggdrasil, trembling, completely exposed to the angel lord's stare, which he could not bring himself to meet.
Yggdrasil examined his prize, smiling when he saw no flaw. "Come to me chosen, your first task is to please me with that mouth you seem to love to use."
Zelos shuddered a bit, but moved toward Yggdrasil obediently. He hesitated a bit while examining the clothing the angel wore, uncertain how to go about removing it.
Yggdrasil chuckled at Zelos perplexed look. He slowly slipped off the garment enough for him to be able to do as he commanded.
Zelos slowly, reluctantly bent down to where Yggdrasil's member lay waiting, nestled in a patch of blond curls. Hesitantly, he wrapped one hand around it, holding it firmly as he took as much as he could into his mouth.
Yggdrasil's eyes twitched slightly, but he gave no other indication to what he was feeling.
Squeezing his eyes tightly shut, Zelos began to bob his head, at the same time pumping a bit with his hand. As he began to fall into a rhythm, he added a bit of movement with his tongue, swirling it about and swiping it over areas he knew to be sensitive. If his life were to depend on this, he'd better do it well...
Yggdrasil sighed slightly, moving his hands and entwining them in Zelos' hair. He pulled slightly, forcing Zelos deeper onto him.
Zelos paused at the sudden pull, nearly gagging as he felt the member brushing sensitive areas of his throat, but managed to suppress the reflex just in time. Opening his jaw a bit wider, he continued, moving faster now, and flickering his whole tongue about rapidly, desperately wishing he could be somewhere, anywhere else.
Yggdrasil let out a small moan, petting Zelos. He thrust suddenly, his body giving up some of it's control to the sensations.
Zelos choked a bit as Yggdrasil thrust into his mouth, but played through it, continuing his ministrations still faster, licking and sucking at whatever his mouth could reach, and pumping whatever it couldn't with one hand.
Yggdrasil's groan was the only warning Zelos got as a tremble shook him and he came into his mouth, still holding his head so that he couldn't pull away.
Zelos nearly retched as his mouth was filled with seed, but forced himself to keep still until Yggdrasil had finished.
Yggdrasil smiled and finally released Zelos' head. "Delicious." he said eying the cum covered redhead.
Tears stinging his eyes, Zelos pulled back, swallowing the bitter fluid as soon as he was able, though he still felt ill. He sat before Yggdrasil patiently, unable to look up at the angel lord. If he'd believed in a higher power, he might have prayed that Yggdrasil was done with him, but in this cold heaven, there was no one left to pray to.
Yggdrasil pulled Zelos towards him, kissing him tenderly. "Perfect..." He whispered.
Zelos whimpered a bit, but knew better than to try and pull away, instead simply allowing Yggdrasil to move him about like a doll.
Quickly as he had been when he first seized Zelos, he pushed him down on the bed. "You're act was splendid... now the final scene..."
Zelos, too emotionally drained to care anymore, simply nodded, stretching himself out on the bed and waiting for Yggdrasil to make his move. He'd react when it was done with; for now, he retreated into his mind to wait this torment out.
A knock was suddenly heard at the door. Yggdrasil growled many profanities, then got dressed and answered the door. "Whatever it is, it had best be good!"
An angel was there waiting for him. He bowed before Yggdrasil gave him permission to speak. The angel relayed his message, then was given the permission to leave.
Yggdrasil inclined his head to Zelos. "You have been spared your punishment for this night. I hope however you will be more loyal in the future." Then he simply teleported.
Trembling, Zelos gathered up his clothes and dressed quickly, too upset even to be grateful for his reprieve. He hurried through the city of the angels toward the teleporter, avoiding their dead gazes, desperately trying not to think of what had just happened. As he ran, free to escape at last, he didn't even notice the tears flowing down his cheeks.
"Zelos!" A voice called out to him.
Zelos froze. He knew that voice, but couldn't bear the thought of facing its owner, not after... what had happened. He bolted, hoping desperately that the other wouldn't give chase.
"Zelos!" The voice yelled, and at getting no response chased the chosen down, catching him with little effort. He grabbed his wrist. "Zelos! Stop!"
Feeling the tug at his wrist sent Zelos spiraling back into a panic. "No! Let- let go of me!" he sobbed out, gasping for breath as he continued to struggle.
"Zelos!" Kratos shouted, grabbing the sobbing boys shoulder and holding him steady.
"K-Kratos?" Zelos looked up at him, then broke down completely, collapsing into the older man as he continued sobbing, well beyond the capacity for speech.
"Zelos?!" Kratos gasped, very much surprised at the chosen's behavior.
At getting no response, and seeing that he wasn't going to stop anytime soon, Kratos just let Zelos cry on him. He brought his hands up, and awkwardly at first, held the sobbing chosen in his arms. He offered soothing words of comfort.
Gradually, Zelos' frantic sobbing slowed, and he brought himself back under control. Sniffling, Zelos began to pull back, refusing to meet Kratos' eyes. "Th-thanks," he managed.
Kratos, in all his wisdom, did not ask what happened, but simply gave Zelos another light squeeze. "Do you want to talk about it?"
Zelos shook his head mutely, afraid to even think about it... but he felt he owed Kratos some sort of explanation after crying all over him. "Y-Yggdrasil... he found out that... that I'd been talking to the Renegades," he managed, hoping that Kratos could continue the story on his own.
"...I see..." Kratos said, instantly putting two and two together. "Do you need help?" Kratos asked awkwardly. He wasn't sure what he could do for the boy...
Zelos shook his head again. "I-I'll be okay. Just... I don't even know what." Zelos wanted to be home. He was close to tears again already, but he told himself he'd restrain them until he was safely in his own bed, with no one around to see. "I'll be okay," he repeated, hoping that he could make himself believe it.
"Where is Lloyd's group? I will escort you there." Kratos said softly.
Zelos had to think for a moment; events no more than an hour or so ago suddenly seemed a lifetime away. "They're staying in Sybak," he managed, "but you don't have to... I mean... I can get there on my own."
Kratos shook his head. "It's alright chosen." he said in a voice similar to the one he had used so many years ago when he was his teacher, the one he had used when Zelos had awoken from a particularly terrifying nightmare.
Unconsciously, Zelos relaxed a bit at Kratos' tone. "...Thanks," he murmured with a sigh.
Kratos smiled gently, placing a hand around Zelos' shoulder and walking with him to the teleporter that lead back to the surface.
