"Ow," Kakashi said. His delayed reaction was half-hearted at best, and it was difficult to determine his level of pain with such a lukewarm response.

"Sorry," Rin replied, and covered her mouth. She realized she didn't sound very apologetic. It was hard to sound like she was sorry when she was trying so hard not to laugh.

Really, that was what he got for wandering around in the dark with only his Sharingan wide open. She certainly didn't have the benefit of seeing in the dark. And she wouldn't have shone her flashlight right in his face if he hadn't snuck up on her like that.

She giggled. Kakashi, hand still covering his left eye, glared.
