A friend is a special person.
They know everything about you
But care only for the good.
They console you even if
You're so miserable that
You don't want to be consoled,
And let you do the same for them.
They support you in good times and bad.
A friend lends you money
But doesn't expect it back,
Even though they know you'll pay them.
Good friends argue,
And make up the next day.
A friend cares about your feelings,
But will never lie outright
Just to support your ego.
A friend encourages you
In all things good,
But will protect you
From all things bad.
True friends are rare,
So if you find one
Hold on tight with both hands.
