Between the Good and Bad


It is now the last weekend before the
dance and you still need a dress sooo, you do the only
thing you can think of, you call Mia and Nia so you can
all go dress shopping. You jump into Mia's new BMW and
settle into your spot in the passengers seat. "Hey Mia
where are we going first?" you ask waving at Nia who's
in the back seat. "Well Nia and I thought we could go
to JC Pennies first, you never know what you'll find
there, and if we don't find 'the dress' then well go
to that new shop" she replies pulling out an Iron Maiden
CD and popping it into the CD player. "Sounds good"
you say turning up your favorite song.
The mall is crowded what with Christmas coming up and what not and you knew Ray would be up to his
neck is busy last minuet shoppers. Sometimes you wondered
how he did it. You jumped out of the car Nia and Mia waited
for you to grab your sweatshirt and your wallet. Pushing
open the door to the mall, you are greeted buy the cheerful chatter, that you can only here once a year, and Christmas music. You and Mia are ear to ear smiles and Nia is practically jumping up and down she's so happy.
You quickly make your way to JC Penny's
and rush to a rack of dresses. You and Mia decide after
only 20 minuets that none of the dresses here would work.
So you walked across the mall to a new store called 'Antenias dresses for all occasions'. It has a lot of really pretty dresses, so you all rush towards different racks and start looking. Five minuets later you walk into the dressing
room dress in hand. You walk out saying "How do I look?" and blush when Mia and Nia smile and say that's its perfect and
then pull Ray out of no were so you could get his opinion.
The dress went down past your feet dragging a little when you walk, giving the illusion that you are floating. It was
red and black and it bares your back and midriff, in black x-shaped velvet.
The straps were the same as the black velvet
across your back and stomach and they tied behind your neck.
The dress it's self was a deep crimson and it was soft to
the touch. "Wow Kate that looks great!" Ray said with wide eyes "Gerard will love it" he finished. You look up "Do you really think so?" you ask looking at him, trying not to
giggle madly when he just simply nodded and then picked
you up swinging you around a bit. "Look I have to get back
to work but I'll see you later at the house okay?" he asked "Yeah I can't wait" you say looking up and smiling
again.
At the and of dress hunting
you all had dresses and accessories. You found a pair of
black high heels that matched your dress perfectly and a
as a joke you got a small tiara to go with it that had
rubies and diamonds init. Mia had found a nice deep brown
silk dress that went a little past her knees, it was
strapless and was plated at the waste. Nia found a dark
midnight blue dress that was an extremely low V cut
(in a none sluttish way)style. She was happy to find that
she too could were a tiara with sapphires and diamonds.
So Mia got one of just diamonds and you all decided that
since you were the girls of such wonderful men, you should be queens, and you played the part well. After dress shopping you spent the rest of the morning Christmas shopping and you
had almost finished your list when you all finally left.
At the house Gerard was sitting on the couch and watching a documentary on New Jersey bands. "How'd the
dress shopping go ladies?" he asked smiling as you walked through the door. "Gerard I almost feel bad for you, your girlfriend will be fighting the guys off with a stick" Mia giggled as she jumped on to the couch. "Really?" he asked
"Yeah Rays mouth hit the floor when he saw her" Nia replied sitting down next to Mia. "It did not!" you blushed walking
to Gerard's room and dropping your stuff only to run back and jump into Gerard's lap, "Ray will be over later" you say snuggling into his neck and closing your eyes. "Will he really?" he asks looking at Nia and Mia who are fighting over a pillow. "Yeah" you reply.
