I woke up, Andrew's arms were clutched around my waist. He hasn't done that in a while. I turned over, trying to to break out of his grasp. Looking at him I smiled. "Luka, stop staring at me." He moaned, let go of my body, and rolled over. I rolled my eyes and got out of bed, picking up my robe and making my way into the kitchen to make me and Andrew our morning cups of coffee.
It was a while before Andrew got up. His coffee had gone cold and had a layer of 'coffee skin' as I call it over the top. "Luka, my coffee is cold." "Heat it in the microwave." "Make me another one." I gave an annoyed sigh and made my way to him in the kitchen.
"I'm going out tonight." I said in a brave tone. He eyed me and then turned back to his toast. "With who?" "Gerard." He took the butter out the fridge and slammed it down on the side. "I don't like him." He said angrily. "I never asked if you like him, I'm going out with him and his friend's tonight." I decided not to make his coffee and made my way into the bedroom.
Andrew followed me, wanting to argue, or just not wanting me to go. I started to get dressed. "Where are you going?" "I don't know." He grabbed me by the wrist. "Get off me Andrew." "I don't want you to go!" He shouted, I pulled back from him and pushed him away from me. "You never want me to go anywhere, it's alright for you isn't it? You can have friends, I want to start meeting new people Andrew, ever since I've been with you I've lost friends, family, do you really want me to live like that?" "If you loved me you would." I froze, I didn't want to look at him.
I kept my back facing Andrew and a tear ran down my face. "Don't do that Andrew." "Do what? Tell the truth?" "I want to go out." "WELL FUCK YOU THEN!" Andrew shouted slamming the bedroom door and the front door, I stood rather startled, no idea where he had gone.

Once I was dressed I decided to actually go and see Gerard for the first time. My stomach tied in knots while I was stood outside his door. I raised my fist and readied myself. Knocking three times I stood and waited. When the door opened, it wasn't Gerard, it was Frank. He smiled and opened the door some more, letting me in.
Gerard was sat playing a video game on his XBox 360. I smiled at him, raising the controller when it came to the hard parts and clicking the buttons furiously. "Gerard, you have a friend here." Gerard never took his eyes off the tele. "Who is it?" "It's Luka." I said smiling to myself, Gerard paused the game and turned to face me, kind of shocked that I was there. "I didn't think you were coming." He said blushing and looking at the floor. Frank sat down on the sofa. Maybe they both heard everything upstairs.
I sat on the sofa next to Frank and Gerard carried on with his game. "What are you playing?" "Dead or Alive 4." I smiled, I love this game. We sat quietly while Gerard tried finishing the game. "I just got it today, it's kind of hard, but not." I nodded in understandment.
When Gerard finished he turned in a little spin on the floor to face us. He just sat and smiled. "What?" Frank asked, kind of nervous. He knew Gerard better than me, so maybe there is a reason to be nervous. Frank being nervous, made me nervous, and that made Gerard smile some more. "You guys are so funny." I curled my eyebrows, what is he on about? "Well, we going to go get something to eat before we go?" Gerard asked. Frank nodded and so I just nodded too, not wanting to ruin anything, but I wasn't hungry.
We waited for Gerard to get his things and walked down to his car. I don't have a car. That's not fair. I let Frank sit in the front and I sat at the back, staring out the window. The ride was quiet. Too quiet.
Gerard parked outside McDonalds and got out the car. This is obviously where they wanted to eat. I wasn't really complaining. "We'll just pop in cause I want a veggie burger." I nodded my head and let them lead me into the restaurant. It was rather warm in here. We were surrounded by loud kids, parents people who worked here. I had a sudden feeling of uneasiness.
Frank chose a table near the window. I followed and sat down with him while Gerard was ordering. He seems to always order. "So who's your boyfriend?" Frank asked out of the blue. "His name is Andrew." I stared down at the table.
Gerard walked over with a tray and his and Frank's dinner. He sat next to me and passed around the food. He passed me a drink. "I didn't-" "Don't worry, I wanted to. It's diet coke, I figured you didn't drink normal." I smiled, he was so right. "No, I don't. Thanks." "I don't either, taste like shit. And you're welcome." We sat quietly while him and Frank ate.
I sat and listened to myself slurp through a straw, and the fact that Frank and Gerard were being very silent while eating made me very nervous. I took the lid off the cup and drank it like that. Gerard giggled a bit. "What?" I asked giving a smile. He shook his head.
Once them two had eaten we decided to head off to where ever they were going. "It's a great club." Gerard started. "You'll love it." I smiled back and we all got back into his car.
This time we were in there longer, it was about half an hour before we got to the club. I was already tired, and we Haven't even started doing anything.
Gerard got out and opened my door, helping me out. "Thank you." I whispered, just loud enough for him to hear. He smiled and shut the door. Frank made his way round the car and straightened his shirt. We made our way to the front door of the club. The bouncer looked at us. "I.D?" Gerard whipped out his driving license and put it into the guys face. Me and Frank followed Gerard's lead.
I was rather surprised that we didn't have to pay, was it some sort of 'private' club or something? We stood at the entrance to let the place sink in. Girls with mini skirts flaunting their legs and cleavage about. Not something I find attractive. Gerard nodded his head to the music and led me and Frank to a table.
"You glad you came?" Gerard shouted over the music. I shrugged, nothing interesting had happened yet. Some half naked waitress walked over. "Hi, can I have your order?" Frank smiled, leaned back in his chair and looked her up and down. My lip curled in disgust.
Gerard ordered us all beer, how are we getting home tonight? I decided to erase all the questions from my mind and try to enjoy the night.
About two hours later, I was rather drunk. I knew I was, the room was spinning, my eyes were burred, speech slightly slurred. But it was the same for Gerard and Frank. Although Frank had gone dancing with some girl who decided she needed to bend over so she fell out of her top to attract him. Woman.
Gerard stayed with me, I don't know why, he just sat and laughed at everything. I think he did more than drink. He scared me a bit, it wasn't really him. "Gerard?" He looked at me with a big smile on his face. "I want to go home." The smile went, maybe he was rather sober then. "How come?" I shrugged. It was late and I want to get back to Andrew. "I just do."

Gerard opened the door to his car to let me in, I stood and hesitated. He'd been drinking, was he serious? "Gerard, you've-" "I'm not drunk." Gerard smiled, I was still very unsure, but I got in anyway.
Everyone but Frank stayed quiet, he was singing along to the songs being played on the radio. He was the worse one. Dancing about with as many girls as possible, drinking himself silly. It's bad for his health, it's bad for anyone's health, how can he find drunk, skinny girls attractive?
It was too dark outside to tell where we were, I gave out a cough. Gerard looked at me through the rear-view mirror. He gave me a sympathetic look, did I look that miserable?
Gerard pulled up in what looked like was our car park. I was glad we got home safely. I quickly jumped out of the car, heart still pounding from the nerving drive. Gerard locked the door and all three of us made our way into our apartment building.
I left Gerard and Frank outside Gerard's apartment door and went upstairs. Before I opened my door I turned my wrist watch and had a look. It was 12:32. Maybe Andrew won't be here, and if he was, maybe he's in bed.
I opened the door and made my way in, locking it behind me. All the lights were off. I made my way to the bedroom and Andrew wasn't there. I sighed and got undressed, then climbed onto the mattress. I wrapped the blanket around me to keep myself warm.
After what seemed like an hour of sleeping my eyes shot open. Someone's hand was over my mouth and was being straddled. It was too dark to see who it was exactly, I swear I locked the door, and I don't think Andrew would be doing this.
My eyes started to water, it was hard to breath. I wasn't in pain, just scared. The blankets were pulled off me and I was picked up by my hair. Cries and sobs left my mouth as I was dragged into the living room. "I'll teach you to leave me." Andrew's voice penetrated my ears. He sounded so angry, he never used to raise a hand to me, now he hits me, but he's never done this before.
He let go and I fell to the floor, I tried to crawl away but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me up to him so our faces were just inches away. My lips trembled, I tried to say something, but I could barely mouth the words. He threw me hard against the wooden floor, the side of my face stung, I decided not to move, and to just lay still. "Just get it over and done with!" I shouted after he just stood and looked at me.
I looked up at him and he grinned. "But that's no fun." He put his shoe on my face and pushed down, I let out a wine and sobbed some more. "What do I have to do?" He asked, kneeling down and stroking my head. "What do you mean?" "Why can't you just be mine? I don't want to share you." I pushed down on the floor and lifted my self up into a sitting position.
He stared at me, hatred and jealousy filled his expression. I shook my head and slapped him.
"I want a social life, I've had enough! You do nothing but hurt me!" As soon as he recovered he grabbed my shoulders and pulled me up, slamming me hard against the wall. "You hurt me first." He back handed me around the the face just once more before leaving me to drop to the floor.
I decided if I just laid there, I'd be safe. I didn't want to move. If I moved, I was afraid of throwing up. My nose was bleeding where I hit my face on the floor. I never knew he was capable of such violence, he used to be so gentle with me.
The doorbell rang, there was also knocking and the sound of Gerard's voice pierced it's way through the door. "Luka!? Luka are you in there?" I laid silent, I couldn't let him see me like this. It went silent again, and his footsteps trailed away. There were faint voices out there, too faint to understand them, but the other must be Frank. Did they hear everything?
It was a while before Andrew got up. His coffee had gone cold and had a layer of 'coffee skin' as I call it over the top. "Luka, my coffee is cold." "Heat it in the microwave." "Make me another one." I gave an annoyed sigh and made my way to him in the kitchen.
