Under the ash tree

"An unexpected ash tree on a sunny moonlit beach." Right. I love this one.
You've got the Alice flips from the manga, and the bizarre characterizations from the manga, and the cracktastic revelations from the manga (I mean, I had no idea who the carpenter was until it was obvious who he had to be), and you've worked in the nifty myth detail that the manga only bothered with on its better days.
Whew. And it's 100% queasy humor as well: "given that Thor drove his thoughts the way Freya drove her cats, though it was equally possible Thor had meant to say what he seemed to say" (actually, pretty much every line devoted to Narugami :D).
I'm a little surprised that you didn't devote at least a paragraph to all that hair hanging down. cough
Author\'s Response: Narugami seems to be also a Person Who Does Not Get Enough Love. ^_^Wahaha. No, I already used up all my purple prose on (Utgard)Loki's hair. Going on about Odin would have been far too much hairy horror.
