In another life, at another time, Naruto would be a solution. There would be no need and no story eaten away by their sacred poisons.
In another life, he would take the dark from Sasuke and the love from Sakura. The seams may be ripped and they may bleed because it was much too quick and he is much too Naruto, but in the end he is worst off, left to smother their toxins with his shapeless light. And when everything that is most dear and destructive to them is gone, all that will be left is Sakura and Sasuke and the boy without a shadow.
