whilst i don't agree with the statement that 'Albus believes he is god' i certainly can see how the power and his position has affected how he thinks. he believes it is his responsilbity to bring an end to this war, and he is doing it via the ways he deems correct. how listen to other ideas.
its the combination of his status, and everyone (ministers, and other officals) asking for his help, so he believes his 'help' is absolute...
i do feel sorry for Amelia. i do like her character, and it is somethign that has great potential, but too many people kill her off.
i look forward to the prank, and also how harris talks with both Susan and Ginny. that should be interesting.
serverus, (as always) was magnific, though he does need to be put in his place. i would just love to see Albus die by Snape's hands, just for the irony of it all. ahhh... well.. regardless of everything i still believe JK. will keep Snape alive and 'light'
anyway, i look forward to whatever you have planned, and hopefully both Snape and Albus getting pecked down a bit...
congrats and update soon, i stil hope we see more of Naricassa.Author's response
Yes, I thought Amelia had a lot of potential too, it's a shame JKR killed her off so soon in HBP. I guess we will have to simply enjoy her in fanfic. BJHLike Some Song You Can't Unlearn

I like the story. I am wondering about a couple of things: Do james and Lily have any other children in this reality? It would be known that Sirius did not betray the Potters since they are alive and would know Peter was the secret keeper I wonder why Sirius wouldn't have had a trial since the wizarding world doesn't seem too concerned about killing muggles. Oh well! I wonder if Harry will eventually be able to reveal himself to his parents or perhaps his mother will figure it out. Any way I am anxious to learn the purpose of the runed choclets. Thanks for the story. W.Author's response
No, James and Lily never got over the death of Harry enough to have other children. As for Sirius, everyone assumed that he set up Peter to divert suspicion from himself. thanks for reading. BJHLike Some Song You Can't Unlearn

Great to see more of this, and really enjoyed the discussion beteen Harry and Albus, and a lot of valid point there, with a lot of what Harry stated seems to fit with the attitude Albus has, that is to wait and wait for the deliverance. Looking forward to what may come of that, and the next confrontation between Harry and Severus.Like Some Song You Can't Unlearn

I love the story so far. It has me completely hooked. The only thing I want more of is Harry/Narcissa scenes, I love those 2.Like Some Song You Can't Unlearn

Hmmm, interesting. I had to say, though, I'm curious as to what part Cissy'll play in this even further down the line.Like Some Song You Can't Unlearn

I just love this story and really hope you update again this week. I want to know, will Harry remain in a relationship with Narcissa? Will he talk to Draco about his task or try and get him thinking for himself? Will he begin collecting the Horcruxes? And what about Sirius? I loved how he uncovered Pettigrew and what he said about being an illegal animagus.Like Some Song You Can't Unlearn

A good insight into Dumbledore's character that doesn't fall into the trap of casting him as evil. I loved you exposition on the spy game that Voldemort and Dumbledore are playing. I can see Voldemort laughing at this game, I really can.
"What made Draco and Snivellus so important that he would give them every possible chance to change sides when the lives of those who had already chosen the Light side meant so little?" Amen to that. It gets worse when Dumbledore is willing to (effectively) sacrifice Amelia Bones, yet is unwilling to kill a few Death Eaters.
"Because you are hoping that someday, some wonderful day far into the future, Snivellus may accidentally overhear something truly valuable. Some small tidbit that will give you the answer you seek." AND "You are trading lives to buy time, and with that time you hope to solve the great riddle of how to destroy Voldemort."
Unfortunately for Dumbledore, the war of attrition is going worse for the light side than for the dark side. The point of attrition is that you actually have to weaken your enemies. In reality, only the light side is weakening.
In some ways, Dumbledore is a religious fanatic hoping for a miracle that will save them. In this case, Dumbledore is hoping to get saved by the prophesy. He apparently doesn't care about the price that people have to pay for that miracle.
