"Roxanne Isabelle Way!" my sweet dear mother yelled from the kitchen. "get up and check the mail like i told you ten minutes ago!"
"im going!" i yelled back and left the comfy couch to go out to the horrible outdoors. as i made my way to the front door i passed that one mirror on the wall. i stopped and looked at myself. i saw a skinny, pale 19-year old with dyed black hair, a fringe covering her left eye, a lip ring and gray eyes... i sighed..."why'd you do it?!?" i mumbled looking away from the mirror. i opened the front door and walked down the driveway to the mailbox. i took the envelopes out the mailbox and then went back inside. i went into the kitchen and put the mail on the table
"the mail is on the table" i told my mom before going back to my spot on the couch.

"Roxy!" i heard my dad yell from the kitchen not even ten minutes after i had got the mail. i lazily got off the couch and walked into the kitchen.
"yeah, Dad?!?" i said. he held out a white envelope.
"mail for you...i think its from your brothers" he said...i took the envelope from him and instead of going back to the couch, i went upstairs to my room...i sat indian-style on my messy bed and stared at the envelope...there was no return address so i didnt really know if it was from my brothers...
as i sat wondering about opening the envelope or not, i began playing with the death bat charm on my necklace...i finally decided to open it. i opened it and pulled the contents out...it was several pictures and a letter. i unfolded the letter and read it silently...
