Everybody's Fool
Dedicated to Madison, I know your struggle, and I want to help
What was life to her?
She wandered the crowded halls
Her exterior just a shell
Her interior so lifeless
What was hope to her?
Whom everyone had shunned
Her life was just a sham
Her hands firm and cold
What was truth to her?
That had fooled everyone
Her exterior just a shell
Her interior so lifeless
How could she have fooled them all?
The girl in the crowded hall
How could she have shunned them all?
Socially inadequate
Been everybody's fool
Dedicated to Madison, I know your struggle, and I want to help
What was life to her?
She wandered the crowded halls
Her exterior just a shell
Her interior so lifeless
What was hope to her?
Whom everyone had shunned
Her life was just a sham
Her hands firm and cold
What was truth to her?
That had fooled everyone
Her exterior just a shell
Her interior so lifeless
How could she have fooled them all?
The girl in the crowded hall
How could she have shunned them all?
Socially inadequate
Been everybody's fool
