Won't you give me back my freedom?
What did I ever do to you?
You chain me here,
Stuck between these four walls.
I yearn for the freedom I have known.
I see nothing but darkness.
I don't deserve this.
I never stabbed you with poisoned words,
I never twisted your thoughts.
My saviors are kept away from me,
Will I ever be rescued?
If I am small, and silent,
Will I be set free?
I'll prove I'm the best,
I won't cry.
I'll sell you my soul.
Is that good enough?
What did I ever do to you?
You chain me here,
Stuck between these four walls.
I yearn for the freedom I have known.
I see nothing but darkness.
I don't deserve this.
I never stabbed you with poisoned words,
I never twisted your thoughts.
My saviors are kept away from me,
Will I ever be rescued?
If I am small, and silent,
Will I be set free?
I'll prove I'm the best,
I won't cry.
I'll sell you my soul.
Is that good enough?
