OK that's all well and good but the spiders owe Harry a life debt for destroying the snake in the first place. Thought I'd mention it. It's nice that they have a new home, however. :-DAuthor's response
Perhaps in another HP universe the acromantuale will honor a life debt, but in this one they are making a nest under the best food source they could hope for . . .
More in the next chapter.

Aragog may have been under a life debt as patriarch and guardian of the acromantula clan, but the rest of them aren't, sorry to disagree, G. Either way, it's no good. I do believe that this is the first time I have ever seen the basilisk cleaned up before Harry reentered the Chamber. Very nice.Author's response
Good call Angyelsglaive (love to know the origins of that name), more info on the great hairy spiders next chapter.

Very interesting. I don't think I've read a story where the spiders have set up their nest in the Chamber. Of all the things I expected to be down there those were not one of them.
Can't wait to see where things are headed now that they've got most of the horcruxes. Keep up the great work!Author's response
As always, thanx for reading and reviewing. Next chapter you'll find out why Salazar had the basilisk in the Chamber in the first place.
