Ashlee and Brendon walked around the zoo.
It was another on of the famous Ashdon days.
The day that belonged to them.
No Ryan.
No anyone.
Just the two of them.



"Oooh B look at this monkey. It looks like you," Ashlee laughed.

"Haha. Nah he's lips aren't big enough," She laughed. She loved how Brendon didn't take himself seriously. He was able to make fun of himself.


Ryan couldn't do that.


They spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying each other's company.
When there was no Ryan, they were like a proper couple.

They linked arms.
Laughed at each other's stupid jokes.
Brendon paid for everything.


Ryan was the last thing on their minds.
They were having too much fun.


The day of course had to end.
Much to Ashlee and Brendon's disappointment.


Ashlee felt sad that her day with Brendon went so fast.
But she was happy to see Ryan. He was her boyfriend and she loved him right?


"Wanna get some ice cream," Brendon asked.
"Sure" Ashlee smiled.
She wasn't going to say no too more time with Brendon.


"No way. Compared to Nightmare before Christmas. Corpse Bride sucks" Ashlee stated. Sticking up for her favorite film.

Brendon laughed. Defeated. Man she was so hot.
He edged closer
Looking deep into her eyes.
And he kissed her.
Soft but sweet
Wrong but right.
Pure but dirty.


Ashlee knew she should pull away but she couldn't
His lips were amazing.
She never wanted to depart from them.
He kissed like Ryan.

Ryan.

Ryan her boyfriend.

Ryan the love her life.


She pulled away.
Brendon was Ryan's best friend.
And she was kissing him.

"I....I....um...bye" Ashlee stuttered.
Picking up her bags and catching the next plane back to Chicago.



There was no way she could stay in Las Vegas now.
