Chapter 15
A/N: Editor: The Resident
It was one o'clock in the afternoon, and Harry had rest at last. Well, not totally rest, because there were his slaves and two fiancées and Tonks sitting on the table in the dining room. They were having lunch; Fleur, Cho, Ginny and Pansy were strangely quiet, Tonks was giving him funny looks, Luna was studying the ceiling again and Su Li was quiet as usual. And then there was star stricken Gabrielle sitting next to him, the sister of Fleur and the silent Har Chang, the sister of Cho.
Andromeda Tonks had asked him to release Narcissa Black from her confinement and he was supposed to give her an answer tomorrow morning. Andromeda Tonks told that Narcissa was very experienced in etiquette and politics, and she would be able to help him out in that area, not to forget that she had a lot of inside information about Voldemort. But that could wait for tomorrow morning, because there were hotter issues at stake at the moment.
"Do you know what you are going to do, Ginny?" asked Harry.
"You mean with the marriage idea to be free of slavery?" said Ginny.
"Yes," said Harry.
Harry thought back what Hannah Abbott had said an hour ago. She asked the slaves not to have any sexual intercourse with him, until they had decided what to do with the marriage idea. If they would chose to marry Harry and regain their freedom, to wait with the sexual intercourse until the wedding night and give the rest of the women a fair chance.
None of the girls reacted to that statement, and Harry had decided to interfere. He had promised Hannah and the rest of his fiancées that he would not sleep with anyone, until the marriage of the first fiancée. Hannah and Susan were very satisfied and pleased.
"If you don't mind, I would love to marry you," she said hesitating, and stated fixedly at the table.
"And you, Pansy?" asked Harry.
"I've not decided, yet," she said dejectedly.
"Is there is problem, Pansy?" asked Harry mystified. He thought that they would take this opportunity with both hands.
"There is nobody to marry, Potter. I can't ask a man to marry me, because I'm a slave and according the tradition the man supposes to ask me!" she said, glaring at Ginny.
"Screw tradition," said Harry harshly. "Do you want me to ask you to marry me," asked Harry with a smile on his face.
Pansy looked at him with an incredible expression on her face. "You?"
"Am I that repulsive, Pansy?" Harry asked hurt.
"You're not repulsive, Potter. You look alright; you might take more showers though. But you are a do-gooder, and that is not my style," she said with a smirk.
"Well, maybe you like to polish Ginny's shoes then," said Harry.
Harry turned to Fleur. "I assume that you want to marry Bill?" Harry said with a smile.
"Well, "said Fleur hesitatingly. "There is a problem with that," said Fleur hesitatingly.
Harry frowned. "What is the problem then, Fleur?" Harry asked wearily.
"Well, I took four Goblinettas with me to visit Bill in the dungeons, and we talked. I saw a part of Bill, which I never had seen before; he was possessive, jealous and did not want to see any reason. He wanted to take me from the castle and marry me immediately, even when I did not want to be taken. He did not understand the problems of being a slave, and he also did not care. He refused to listen to me, and the only thing he wanted was kissing me.
He hates you, Harry. He was able to kill you on sight. He scared me, and I hesitate to make a decision concerning him," she said miserably.
"Maybe he needs time," Harry said soothingly.
"There is the other issue, we had not discussed the last time we explained slavery with you, Harry," she said.
"What issue?" asked Harry bewildered.
"A slave gets adjusted," Fleur said. "That means that the slave is going to gauge what you want, and the personality of the slave will be adjusted to you. The slave will look different, grow different, and act differently, all of those changes to satisfy you. I see it already happen with Ginny and Pansy, and I see the first signs with me, too. The longer we wait, how more attuned we will be with each other," she said.
Everyone was quiet after that statement.
"I have nobody," said Cho. "My previous boyfriend did me a very bad service, and he was the reason why I lost everything and became a slave," she said. "I have the same problem as Pansy; I don't have anyone to marry, and I don't see how I can get somebody to marry. This harem is the only constant in my life as I see it, and there is no way I can return to my family as a slave. You told me that we had the freedom to do what we want as slave, but practically that will be impossible. The only way out of this is marrying you.
"When you want to have me, Harry, I chose to marry you to regain my freedom and dignity," she said, also staring at the dining table.
"Luna? What do you think?" Harry asked.
"I'm not a slave, Harry. I don't mind marrying you," she said with a smile. "But I have something to say about that subject."
Now she was smirking. "Are you a stud, Harry?"
Harry was instantly Weasley red, and all the girls stopped eating and were following the conversation with interest.
"A... a what?" stammered Harry.
"Are you a stud? You know, a male employed for breeding," said Luna.
"Like a stallion or bull?" helped Pansy grinning.
"Yes, that or a rooster," commented Luna.
"You know that the muggles put all their studs into a stud farm or stud husbandry," helped Susan.
"What is your point, Luna!" exclaimed Harry, now hot burning red. This was soooo embarrassing.
"What I know about arranged marriages is that there are several phases in such marriage, all of them performed before, during and after the wedding. Before you marry, you need to be registered and setup a marriage contract. When you marry, you need to be married according the law. After the wedding, you need to consummate the marriage. That is all," she said.
Harry looked confused, but the girls understood immediately.
"Oh Harry, that is right. When you want to wait until the last day possible with marrying, you need to consummate the marriages at the wedding night," laughed Fleur. "That's a lot of stud work, I wonder if you are able to handle two wives in one night," she said mischievous.
"Let's see," said Hannah. "We have Lavender, me, Susan, Hermione, Padma, Parvati, Luna and Li," using her fingers to count. "That's totally eight women. "Then your slaves might be married as well, and we have Ginny and Cho, that makes ten women."
Hannah looked at him, like estimating his power and stamina. "Ginny and Pansy, was he able to... you know?"
Ginny nodded happily, while Pansy was glaring at Hannah.
"Well, "Hannah asked Pansy.
"Yes, Potter was," said Pansy.
"That means, dear fiancée, when you fail to consume a marriage of only one woman, you might lose than what you have between your legs," said Susan impishly.
"And fail to produce little Harry's and Harriett's," said Pansy laughing.
"Not to forget his changed voice, he will sound like us," said Gabrielle.
There was a smile on the face of Su Li, but she said nothing further.
Harry was looking horrified, and he looked very uneasy.
"So, what shall we do to protect our dear fiancé and our stud?" asked Luna calmly.
"We marry one after the other," Hannah said seriously. "The only thing is in what order."
"I have an idea," Su Li said. "In old China, the women in a harem were playing a competition, and the ones with the most points went first," she said.
"What competition?" Hannah asked interested.
"We play poker!" exclaimed Fleur.
"I thought that you wanted to think about marrying him," said Cho.
"Well, I can give ideas, not?" said Fleur defensive.
"What is poker?" asked Hannah.
"It is a muggle card game, where everyone has five cards, and the winner is the one with the highest combination. But you can lie about your combination, which is called bluffing," said Luna dryly.
"When do we play," Susan said enthusiastically.
"Tomorrow morning!" exclaimed Hannah.
"Why tomorrow morning?" asked Susan confused.
"Today I want to browse through this amazing castle, and I can be better prepared tomorrow morning, and I'm also in a better mood then," Hannah said smirking. "And not only that, it gives certain girls here a better understanding what they are going to do. Are they going to marry our stud or look for something more... second hand."
Hannah looked pointedly at Fleur, who blushed in embarrassment.
"Your name is Tonks, not?" asked Cho.
Tonks nodded, looking at her questionable.
"Can you tell me how Draco Malfoy reacted when he found out that he was marrying Dolores Umbridge," asked Cho.
"Sure I can," grinned Tonks, looking extremely amused. "Because I was there when the news came in," she said with a grin. "It was classical; it was something I will never forget."
"Draco Malfoy came to the Ministry because he got the notification that he was adopted by the Head of Family Malfoy. He probably thought that his father came free in a way, and he wanted to meet him personally. Then he found out that his father was still in prison, so he came to us to find out who exactly adopted him.
We told him that it was the current Head of Family Malfoy, and that it was Lord-Baron Potter. He did not belief us, until he saw the paperwork. He fainted on the spot.
"When he woke up, he started to rage, so we locked him up, because the language he was using. Then the next notification came in, and we decided that we would bring the news to him in a more fitting way. We found Dolores Umbridge and brought her to the department. She was waiting in front of his cell. We opened the cell door and told him that he was free to go, but that he had am additional notification from his Head of Family.
"We told him that he will be emancipated after a month. That news he liked very much, because he knew that he would become the head of Family then. Then we told him that there was a requirement. We told him that he must marry a woman before that time. That was less pleasant news for him, but we could see that he already was thinking about somebody, so that did not discourage him much.
"Then we told him that his Head of Family cared about him, so he chose a good woman for Draco. And we introduced Dolores Umbridge to him. The expression on his face was hilarious, simply side-splitting.
"We did the only thing possible; we released him from his cell, and let him alone with Dolores. We placed bets how long he would be able to stay with Dolores in one room, but while we were collecting the votes and money, he slammed open the doors and ran for his life, with Dolores Umbridge on his heels, squealing and all. I did not know that Dolores Umbridge could run so fast," said Tonks laughing.
"Anyhow, Dolores Umbridge came back to our department and demanded that we would bring her fiancée back. That we could not do. At the end she insisted that we would collect Draco Malfoy from his manor and bring him to her when they would marry. That we promised her... in the meantime we also closed the exit to abroad, and a monitor at his manor. When he leaves the manor, and he does not come back in the evening, we will bring him in and keep him in custody until his marriage. It is for his protection, you know," she said smirking.
Everyone was laughing.
"Are you two pregnant," asked Tonks to Pansy and Ginny.
"No, we're not pregnant," answered Ginny.
"Are you keeping your promise not to sleep with Lord-Baron here?" asked Tonks.
"Yes, we are," Ginny said, looking pointedly at Pansy.
Pansy looked pensive. "Maybe I don't want to marry him," she said.
"I thought that the status of being a slave was the worst what could happen with you," asked Ginny surprised.
"It is," said Pansy. "But marrying Potter is something bad as well. I would never be able to return to Hogwarts or have contact with other Slytherins. When I'm a slave, they understand."
"When you are a slave, you don't have contact, when you are married with Harry you have also no contact. But when you are married, then at least you are your own, and not to forget very rich," said Cho.
"What are we going to do with the harem," asked Susan.
"You mean who is going to be the alpha wife?" asked Luna.
"No, I was thinking about other things," Susan said. "I hate to be bored all the time and have nothing to do. I want to go into politics, and with a harem that would be perfect. We would be the most powerful political block in the Wizengamot, and get rid of that Fudge and get a better Minister on its place."
"Why not a woman as Minister of Magic," proposed Tonks.
"There was never a woman as Minister before," said Hannah.
"But with your political power it is possible to introduce a female Minister of Magic, not?" countered Tonks.
"We vote for Harry," said Cho.
"Maybe Tonks has a point," said Fleur smiling. "Let's say that Susan or Hannah will be Minister of Magic, which would be a real revolution."
Cho smiled. "When I marry, I can face my family again. Before the debacle of slavery, I was the one who was destined to take the family businesses over from my father, because my sister here does not want to do anything about business. She wants to become an Auror or warrior, like Su Li here," she said looking straight at an unmoving Su. Har Chang looked at Su Li as well, but said nothing.
"What business?" Fleur asked.
"Potions," answered Cho immediately. "We manage the biggest businesses in import and export of Potions," she said.
"And you, Fleur?" asked Cho.
"Our family is in cosmetics for Muggles and magazines, muggle and magical," said Fleur. "I was the family spokeswoman before the slavery thing, but I never want to go back to my family after what they did to me. Personally, I don't know what to do. I dreamt that I would be traveling a lot with Bill, but I am not sure if that is a good idea anymore. So, at the moment, I don't know. I like fashion; maybe I can do something in that."
"And what about you, Su?" asked Luna.
"I am specialized in fighting, that is the only thing I know. I will assist my family and Lord-Baron," she answered.
"Assist in what?" asked Susan mystified.
"Lord-Baron here is destined to fight the most evil and powerful wizard all times, and he needs to win, otherwise all of us die as well," Su answered.
Everyone looked at Su, who was looking defiantly back with a blank face.
"What do you mean?" asked Susan worried.
"Lord-Baron is being named in a prophecy. In that prophecy it is stated that he will fight Voldemort. Only one person will stand and the other will die. We believe in that prophecy, and I am here to start his training. When we are married, other family members will take over his training. "
"Training?" said a flabbergasted Hannah, looking questionable at Harry.
"I have no idea that there were plans about any training," Harry said.
"We start tomorrow morning, Lord-Baron," Su said calmly.
Harry looked straight at Su Li. "Who says?" he said, eyebrows up.
"I do," Su said simply, and continued to eat.
"And what about us?" asked Luna.
"We start tomorrow at four am," Su said. "Be in the entrance hall, dressed lightly.
"What are we going to do at four in the morning?" asked Harry.
"Running, we are going to run for five kilometers to start with, and the program continues until ten in the morning," Su answered.
Harry's eyebrows went even more up and disappeared under his hairline.
"Then I teach you the Chinese battle magic, will takes up time until two pm, and then you are free for the rest of the day."
"Gidi"
"Yes Master," Gidi asked.
"Move all appointments after two pm tomorrow. Don't accept any visitors before that time, except my fiancées," Harry said.
"Yes, Master. Ms. Lavender Brown has requested a get together tomorrow for all fiancées. When shall I schedule that?" Gidi asked.
"Schedule that at four a.m.," Harry laughed evilly.
Gidi looked painfully at her Master. "Four a.m., Master?"
"Yes, tell my fiancées, that I expect them here at the castle at that time in the appropriate clothing, and that they are all volunteered to join the physical and magical training program," Harry smirked.
"Yes Master," Gidi said hesitantly, and plopped away.
Luna unbound her hair and shook her head. Her long blond hair fell on her back in a wave of hair. She looked up and her eyes were shining. Harry never realized that her eyes were so blue... pale blue. Her orbs were not looking fixedly as usual, but there was an expression he recognized as anticipation or eagerness.
"We are his harem," Luna said finally, and she shook her head slowly, the waves of her long hair following mirror like the movements of her head. "It is in our interest that we will take care of him, and that we please him in the ways of women, if you get my drift.
"We, as members of his harem, form the most powerful political and economical block in the wizarding world. We need to take actions that ensures we can protect our interests, and that means that we are going to train with him," and Luna pointed with her gracious thumb to Harry. "We need to change this harem idea of pleasurable women into a fighting unit, which can protect us and our interests. What do you think?"
Fleur laughed, and Cho was looking wide-eyed at Luna. Luna took a piece of toast and took a bite, looking all the time at Harry with a sensual expression in her eyes. Harry was staring incredulously at Luna, and Pansy and Ginny looked at each other and smiled.
Hannah and Susan stood up with their cups of tea in their hands. "A toast to Luna, she is very wise," said Hannah. Hannah and Susan drank from their cups.
"Tomorrow morning we play who is the first, and after that we set the dates of the weddings," Fleur said loudly, and drank her tea.
Everyone looked at Fleur. "Well, I better go with the rest of you, no?"
Nobody said anything, and continued to look at her.
"Well, with Bill I don't know what I'll get, but I expect not much good. With Harry I know what I get, and I like it. Not only that, he looks quite good to me!" Fleur exclaimed.
All ten Goblinettas, who were positioned throughout the dining room for guard duty, were smiling,

"Are you willingly to go to my family and explain to them what you want to do, Potter?" asked Pansy.
"Yes, I am willingly," said Harry.
Pansy looked pensive.
"There is nothing you can lose, Pansy. On the contrary, you gain much more then you lose. You will be the most powerful family member of the Parkinson's, and that says something, no?" Harry remarked.
Pansy nodded and looked pointedly at Harry.
"Do you expect something from me, Pansy?" Harry asked with a smile. He knew exactly what she wanted.
"Maybe," she answered.
"Can you tell me what you want?"
"Maybe," she smiled.
Harry stood up from his chair and kneeled in front of Pansy.
"Gidi"
Gidi plopped into existence, and her eyes widened when she saw her Master kneeling in front of Pansy.
"The rings, Gidi?" Harry said with difficulty. His knees were hurting.
She plopped away and almost immediately appeared with the ring in her hand. Harry took the ring and studied it for a moment until he focused on Pansy again.
"Pansy Potter-Black-Gryffindor-Bones, do you want to make this poor man happy and become my wife?" Harry asked with a smile in his voice.
Pansy looked hesitatingly at Harry, then the ring... a real diamond ring... beautiful and elegant. At least his taste in rings was good.
She nodded at Harry, who beamed and placed it on Pansy's right ring finger. Pansy looked dazed and held up her hand and studied the ring. Harry stood up, while holding her hands and pulled her from her chair and kissed her lightly on her lips.
Behind Harry and Pansy everyone was clapping and both of them turned and looked at the surprised girls.
Ginny approached Harry and Pansy and pulled them both in a hug.
"Who is polishing my shoes now," Ginny whispered at Pansy.
"Potter will polish my shoes... and more," Pansy answered huskily. "That does not mean that I will avoid your bed this evening, Potter!" she whispered.
"No honky-tonk tonight," Ginny said sternly.
"Potter got my virginity," complained Pansy.
"No honky-tonk," said all the girls.
"Maybe some fooling around," Pansy smiled, then looking pointedly at a blushing Harry.
