There is only one word to describe this: perfect. I have been trying to read some more Sakura/Makubex stories since it was a couple I haven't thought of first. And let me say this, so far, this is the best Sakura/Makubex story I have read so far. You should write more of these.

Wow, Sakura/Makubex is my Holy Grail of Get Backers fandom, and you pull off their quiet dynamic so well. I like how you hint at the disparity between their ages & experiences; Sakura's wry comment was too delicious for words.
