It's been a year and a half since the concert of my life. I've won a few more contests but none for Panic! Honestly I don't think I'll ever see them again. But I do wish I could talk with Ryan once again. He was so nice. Well that's not really gonna happen. Since that night I've been taking gymnastics to keep my mind off of Ryan. It's been going pretty well really. This is the first time I've thought about him in year and a half. I'm proud. Wait I need to stop though... before I get in trouble by my coach.

Anyways, today is the national gym meat. Yes I've made it to nationals. I was in all 4 events too: floor, uneven parallel bars, beam, and vault. Eden, Evie, Ashley, and I are competing with each other. We're on the same team but we all would love to win the gold. There are other people here from different teams here to win the gold as well, but we've seen them practice and none are really that good.

People from all different cities are here to watch us as well. The national competition is held here in Las Vegas so I didn't have to travel out of state. I was next to go up on my first event, uneven bars. My name was called and I heard people cheering for me. One of them was my step mother Annabelle. She knows I'd never call her mom so she lets me call her Belle. I chalked my hands and waited for the nod. Once the judges nodded I was up. I kept my attention on the contact between my hands and the bars. I was in the middle of the air and suddenly started thinking about Ryan again. This was not the time. By the time I was supposed to grab the next bar I stopped thinking about him. That was a close one.

I ended my routine with a simple double back flip with a twist. I thought it was simple but others didn't. I was more experienced than the other gymnasts because I had done gym when I was around 5 and stopped when I was 13. I guess that came in handy. Next up was Eden. She, Evie, and Ashley were in my gym classes as kids. It was fairly simple for us to do tricky things like the Shaposkanova. That's what Eden pulled and she was simply amazing at it. I couldn't do it if my life depended on it but I'm glad she could.

Ashley was after Eden and she slipped in the middle of it. Normally she wouldn't do that. I had seen her do this exact routine a million times and she always got it right. Something must have been distracting her. Well Evie was next and she missed the bar in the middle of her routine. That never happened either. I wonder what has them so distracted. One other person was after her and they messed up as well. I didn't know her but earlier during practice she aced this. This is a little too creepy.

I was first for beam, my last event, and I knew exactly what I was going to do. I looked out at the crowd in the middle of a hard handstand-like trick when I noticed someone sitting in the crowd that wasn't there before. He looked so familiar. Wait a minute... that's Ryan. Oh... "Whoa!" I fell of the beam and landed directly on my ankle. Shit that one hurt. I was just sitting there, in tears, clutching my ankle. Why was Ryan here in the first place? Oh I remember now, the musical guest. It must have been him and the rest of Panic! That makes more sense now. Wait, why am I thinking about Ryan now? My ankle is in too much pain.

Eden, Evie, Ryan, Brendon, Spencer, Jon, Ashley, and Belle were all at my side within a matter of seconds. Eden and Ryan helped me up and Evie, Belle, and Ashley helped carry me over to my chair. Why is it that I'm always the one to end up hurt?

"Has anybody called the hospital yet?" It was Brendon who was asking. I wonder if they remembered me. Everyone in the place yelled no so Brendon was immediately on the phone trying to get a hold of a hospital close by. I was still sitting there clutching my ankle when Ryan came into view.

"You again, why do you always seem to fall?" Ryan, Ryan, Ryan. He somehow managed to see me the only 2 times I've fallen and hurt myself. Last time (something he doesn't know) I hurt my wrist. This time it was my ankle. Just my fucking luck. "Are you ok? Brendon's on the phone with a hospital and they're sending an ambulance for you. But, I have a question. What made you fall?" I can't resist this question now, can I?

"Well you see, I haven't seen you 4 in a year and a half. I guess seeing you again, here, made me loose my concentration. So technically, this is all your fault." I smirked and hit his arm playfully. Hopefully that tells him that I'm just kidding around. I think he got it because he laughed and sat down next to me. "And I'm ok I guess. Just in a lot of pain. But that's pretty obvious. How have you been Ross?"

"Pretty good I guess. I've been doing concerts with the band a lot and each time I'm a little more disappointed because you haven't been there. But now I see it's because you've been pretty busy doing this." He smiled and looked down. Probably realizing he just admitted that he missed me."

Ok so I'm gonna go for it. I'm gonna tell him that I only went back into gymnastics to keep my mind off of him. Wish me luck? "Honestly Ryan, I joined gymnastics to keep my mind off of you. I tried a lot of other things but it didn't work. So there's your answer." I looked down. I have been officially defeated by the one and only George Ryan Ross the third.

"Oh really, so if you're not in the hospital tonight you wouldn't mine coming with me some place?" Wait what the hell is he getting at?

"Some place like where?"

"Some place like a restaurant with the guys and me. Your friends already agreed they'd go." He smiled innocently. It was one of those smiles you just couldn't say no to. So obviously I said yes. He got a lot cuter in a year and a half and I didn't think that was ever possible.
