As we gathered in a circle,
I spotted you out of the crowd,
I could not take my eyes from you,
My stomach slowly starts to knot,
A jumble of hands accumulates in the middle,
My hand reaches for yours,
Our hands meet as well as our eyes,
The knots grow tighter as you flash me a smile,
As the game begins and you begin to come closer,
We slowly make our way to each other,
As we end up face to face,
Looking at you I know I'd rather be no where else
I spotted you out of the crowd,
I could not take my eyes from you,
My stomach slowly starts to knot,
A jumble of hands accumulates in the middle,
My hand reaches for yours,
Our hands meet as well as our eyes,
The knots grow tighter as you flash me a smile,
As the game begins and you begin to come closer,
We slowly make our way to each other,
As we end up face to face,
Looking at you I know I'd rather be no where else
