  Excellent story you've got going here. So nice to have a time travel story with more than one chapter that takes place in the future. Funny...I'm actually guilty of doing the one chapter time jump thing.
  
  That being said, I'm looking forward to seeing who goes into the past more than anything else...that and the pairings, though this doesn't strike me as an overly shippy fic, I do hope we get to see a tiny bit of it.

  Whoa!! Thats going to really generate some intense response. So it appears that the Roman Empire's upper class isn't the only group whose decline can be explained by lead plumbing. That's a wicked, and thoroughly plausible, twist on things.

  This is a really interesting idea - I hope that you continue this, and the other one. I think I remember reading the other one, and being disappointed there wasn't more.
