The game itself isn't torture, but the rules are another matter. They restrict what can be done, how long it could be done, and where it could be done. Kurapika is good at it, has stamina -- either that, or he is just much better at Leorio when it comes to control.

It's probably both.

Leorio is not so weak-willed, it's simply that he thinks stoic has its place -- and that place is not the bedroom. So he is vocal, physically responsive, and his hands clench as the rest of his body spasms.

"Ow," Kurapika mutters, and pulls away, escaping the prison of Leorio's legs. He rubs his head. "Stop pulling my hair."

"Sorry," Leorio offers, and means it. He is even more sorry because Kurapika has stopped, and Leorio's erection is still blushed, hard, covered in saliva. He doesn't notice how hard he is breathing, how much his body is quivering, until he realizes that Kurapika is staring at him with mild concern.

"You want to stop the game?" If confronted, he is sure Kurapika would deny it: The faint, faint hint of smugness hidden somewhere behindwhat he is certain to be genuine concern.

So Leorio quips something like, "I don't lose so easily," and reaches around blindly for the dice.

"I don't think it's possible to lose at this game," Kurapika says. Leorio doesn't answer, so he shrugs and remains still as the roll is made. They roll the dice on the nightstand, as the mattress doesn't suffice.

When faced with the result, Leorio shakes with something that isn't quite frustration or anger but could be; why should they have to listen to dice? Kurapika makes some contemplative noise. Even that sounds smug to Leorio's ears.

The blond doesn't protest when Leorio shoves him down against the mattress. Because of how they'd been positioned, now Kurapika's head is almost tipping back off the edge of the bed. The kiss is almost brutal, fueled by lust and impatience. It goes on for some time, but Kurapika pushes him away once Leorio starts to move, fingers wandering and hips pressing downwards.

"That's not what the dice said," the blond reminds him.

"Can't you moan or something?" Leorio growls, annoyed because somehow Kurapika can refrain from these vocal cries of pleasure for the sake of the stupid game. The blond can do what he likes with his voice, but some parts of him don't lie: The way his skin quivers when he is touched, the hardness against Leorio's thigh.

"No." The laughter is quiet and breathless. Kurapika yelps when Leorio pinches his nipple -- hard -- in retaliation. "Maybe we should stop," he adds. "You're getting--"

"I'm not stopping," Leorio insists. He makes certain his touch is much gentler than his tone, and rubs Kurapika's pectoral in apology.

"Are you sure?" Kurapika doesn't sound convinced. "Forget the dice. Here," he starts to sit up, "I'll--"

"Just roll the dice." Leorio puts some distance between them, resolute. Kurapika sighs, but does as he is told. The mood, Leorio senses, is becoming ruined. He hopes -- begs -- the dice will give them release. Leorio is not a pious man, but when they see what Kurapika's roll has given them, he thanks whatever god is listening.

Neither of them wastes any time. Leorio is quick to scamper back to the pillows, lie on his back, and tries not to shake so violently with excitement. Kurapika is quicker to snatch the lubricant from the nightstand. It's already open; they've used it for another roll.

It goes more quickly than either of them usually likes. Kurapika prefers slow and gentle until Leorio cries for more, but they skip that step for obvious reasons. The mattress protests and Leorio wonders fleetingly if one day it will fail them.

Later, Leorio is holding the dice in one hand. His other is stroking Kurapika's back. "I don't know if I like this game," he decides.

"No more dice," his lover declares. He is already half-asleep. "They aren't good for you."

"Maybe not," Leorio agrees, though he hasn't actually decided yet. Idly, he wonders if Kurapika likes being tied up.
