I see you and I wish you were mine,
every time you say my name,
each smile you give me.
Is like a dagger,
is like a knife.
Thrusting into my heart.
making it bleed.
You have no idea
what you do to me,
how I feel.
I long for you,
I ache for your love.
I want to scream,
to tell you how I feel.
How much I want you,
how I wish we could be together.
But I push these feelings down,
I curb my emotion.
Because I know that we can only be friends.
every time you say my name,
each smile you give me.
Is like a dagger,
is like a knife.
Thrusting into my heart.
making it bleed.
You have no idea
what you do to me,
how I feel.
I long for you,
I ache for your love.
I want to scream,
to tell you how I feel.
How much I want you,
how I wish we could be together.
But I push these feelings down,
I curb my emotion.
Because I know that we can only be friends.
