Black and White and the rainbow in between
0 reviewsA short little poem about a panda's colorful world
0Unrated
All day,
they look at me,
and I'm like hey,
stop looking at me,
I'm a prisioner,
their main attraction,
they laugh and coo,
all they see is black and white,
during the night,
when noone is looking,
I sneak out.
I'm free of the stares,
Of the recognition of only black and white,
In the darkness I see the other colors,
and people see my other colors as well,
No longer black and white,
but a rainbow,
but only for the night,
when they don't recognize me,
in the morning,
it'll be back to the same.
Hiding from their stares,
for all they see is black and white in me,
when I just want them to leave me be,
and look at themselves,
and see that like they are not black and white,
neither am I,
Im a rainbow.
they look at me,
and I'm like hey,
stop looking at me,
I'm a prisioner,
their main attraction,
they laugh and coo,
all they see is black and white,
during the night,
when noone is looking,
I sneak out.
I'm free of the stares,
Of the recognition of only black and white,
In the darkness I see the other colors,
and people see my other colors as well,
No longer black and white,
but a rainbow,
but only for the night,
when they don't recognize me,
in the morning,
it'll be back to the same.
Hiding from their stares,
for all they see is black and white in me,
when I just want them to leave me be,
and look at themselves,
and see that like they are not black and white,
neither am I,
Im a rainbow.
