You fly with the birds

You fly so that your heart can feel no pain
But you know you will change
You know you will come down
You know that the cage will close around you
You know that you will have to pretend
That you can survive as you are
You can see in their eyes that they think you weird
You see in their eyes that they think you as alien
So you back away don't show who you are
Smile and just play along
But inside you are screaming
For the friendship you desire
