Kakashi told Sasuke to stay back after the training.
Frowning as usual, Sasuke went to Kakashi’s side while Sakura and Naruto left, sending looks of puzzlement at him.
“There’ll be a new girl in town,” Kakashi said after Sakura and Naruto were gone.
“How is it related to me?” asked Sasuke in an I-don’t-care way.
“Well,” the sensei answered uncomfortably, “I’m afraid she’ll have to share houses with you.”
Sasuke glared at him.
“You are living alone in practically a mansion, and there’re no more houses left in Konoha,” replied Kakashi in response to the glare.
“What does that have to do with the girl and me?” Sasuke said, annoyed.
“I’m not sure myself. The Hokage didn’t emphasize. He just said Konoha was in debt to the girl, or something like that.”
Sasuke didn’t reply. Kakashi looked at him with raised eyebrows. “Will that be okay with you?”
“… Fine.”
