Drew’s POV
“All though that’s going to look funny on the mailbox.” I said as we stepped on.
“What?” Gerard asked.
“Frank, Gerard and Drew.” I laughed.
“Um that is weird we can just go by your middle name.” Frank smiled.
“No, Ann it would be worse then it would be FAG.” I said shaking my head. They both laughed.
“You have a good point. I guess it will just be Drew then.” Gerard added. We stepped off and walked down the hall to the garage. Just I was climbing into Gerard’s car my phone rang. It was my best friend and old roommate Erica.
“Hey,” I answered.
“Um what are you up to?” she asked I could tell she was grinning from ear to ear.
“Going to get something to eat with Gee and Frankie, why?”
“I really hate to do this to you but Ray asked me to move in with him, but that would mean Frankie would have to live with you and Gerard, if that is going to be to weird then I wont do it.” She explained.
“Congrats, honey, You move in with Ray, don’t worry about the three of us I think we can work something out.” I said with a smirk.
“Are you sure, I mean you would be living with your boyfriend and ex.”
“It might be strange at first but, I think we will all get along perfectly.” I smiled.
“Okay then well I guess I will see you when Frank moves out, bye.”
“Bye” I laughed and clicked end.
“I take it then Erica said yes that she would move in with Ray?” Frankie asked from the back seat. I nodded. I smiled at them both. This is going to be interesting, Erica is never going to believe me.
Frank’s POV
As Gerard drove us, I couldn’t help but think of the day I actually meet Drew, well talked to her I had my eye on her from the day I first saw her.
~Flashback~
I was just closing my locker and turned around to walk down the hall when I saw her. I couldn’t tell you one specific thing about her that made me stare at her, but once my eyes fell on her I couldn’t take them off. She was making her way through the crowded hall looking up every now and then. The guys she past didn’t even give her a second glance, why would they she wasn’t blonde and layered in make up like the rest of the girls here. I think that’s what drew me to her. She had long bright red hair that was black on the under layer. I wasn‘t popular but I wasn‘t un popular.
I followed her saying hi to all the girls that called my name. I noticed that while every other girl at this school tried to show off as much skin as possible, she tried to cover as much as she could. She had a long-sleeved shirt on under her uniform dress blouse, she had her socks pulled up above her knees like they where supposed to be. She only showed 3 or4 inches of her thighs, which by the way where pale and I couldn‘t help but wonder if the rest of her body looked that milky. I caught up with her but lost the nerve to say anything so I followed her and sat a couple of seats away from her and stared at her the whole class.
That’s all I could do for the first week she was there. I found out her name was Drew and she moved her from somewhere in Iowa. I tried everyday to think of something to say but couldn’t. I would watch her sit by herself at lunch reading a book, a Harry Potter one to be exact. I couldn’t get over the little faces she would make while reading constantly pushing strands of her hair out of her eyes.
She also was in most of my classes and sat near me by coincidence or cause I wanted it to happen so bad that it did I don’t know. It was now Friday and I had promised to myself that I would speak to her today. The bell just rang for lunch and I decided to stop in the boy’s room to check to make sure my hair was not sticking up or had anything in my teeth. I walked in and was checking my self in the mirror then decided to go to the bathroom. I pushed open the stall door and was surprised by, my obsession.
We both cursed.
“Um….is there a reason you are in the boys room?” I asked not sure what to think of the matter. She blushed and smiled.
“I…I didn’t feel like eating and the girls wouldn’t leave me alone so I came here to be alone.” She stuttered.
“You do this often?” I smiled at her and she returned one as well, damn she was beautiful.
“No, just need to clear my head”
“So you do that in the boys room?” I smirked.
“I don’t know this school well and this is the only place I knew would be quiet now.”
“Why don’t I show you around, I know several places that you can clear your head.” I gave her one of my sexy grins. She smiled and hesitantly looked into my eyes. A shy girl huh. She picked up her bag and pulled the strap over her head.
She made eye contact again this time not shying away, her pale blue eyes flashing.
“I’m Drew, I just moved here” She smiled and stuck her hand out.
“Well welcome to Jersey, I am Frank.” I took her hand and shook it.
“Thanks” She replied and followed me into the class room.
“So are you going to follow me I promise I don’t bite.”
“Sure you seem harmless.” She giggled. I led her to the small greenhouse that we have
behind the school. I watched her take in the sight as we walked in smelling the flowers.
“This place is beautiful Frank.” She sighed. She closed her eyes as she inhaled the smell of a red rose.
“This is where I come to clear my head.” I gave her a smile., stepping closer to her, taking in her sent. She smelled of lavender.
We bonded quickly become the best of friends right off, I didn’t have the guts to tell her how I really felt. During those last two years we became best friends. We where there for each other through everything, she was there for me when my parents divorced. I was there when her dad remarried, she become part of my family and I hers. She brought peace to my life, and I to hers. Every time one of us just need to let the other one know we where there would draw a small dove, our signal. Oh her eighteenth birth day I took her to get her first tattoo, a small dove on her hip to match mine, she was and will always be my dove.
