She stared, confused, as Corey looked around, that smile on his face. Mary turned back to look at her creator. She went to him and, just before placing her lips upon his, whispered, “Blood of my blood.”

Then the Felddog said,

Join me in this
My eternal night
Leave behind the cruel sun
And its cold hateful light

sights we could see

In eternal hunger's fire."

When the Felddog finished, Mary, Dracula, Lucy, Solina and Valerie looked at him in shock. Where Corey learned to speak poetry like that, they didn't know...

"You are a King, Vlad, but you need a Prince," said Corey.

Then Mary looked at the sword in her hands.

"Then I guess I can't kill you."

"Mary, that's not what I meant."

Corey's dark brown eyes gleamed as he looked at them.

"I want you to make me a vampire."
