You should know it’s a lie
When you tell me the reason why I cry
We know it’s not for fame
But because of my shame
You don’t even comfort me
When I start to bleed
We know you don’t try to see
You just stand there
When I start to tear
We know you’re ashamed of me
You forget the real me
When I start to bleed
We know you don’t want to see me
You just want to be me
When you know I don’t understand
We know I don’t belong
You still want to be me
You’ll never see
When you tell me the reason why I cry
We know it’s not for fame
But because of my shame
You don’t even comfort me
When I start to bleed
We know you don’t try to see
You just stand there
When I start to tear
We know you’re ashamed of me
You forget the real me
When I start to bleed
We know you don’t want to see me
You just want to be me
When you know I don’t understand
We know I don’t belong
You still want to be me
You’ll never see
