Casey glanced at Patrick and Joe out of the corner of her eye, smiling slightly at the two who were sitting up and tangled together on the couch of the recording studio as Andy worked on his drum part of Thnks Fr Th Mmrs. She smiled as she looked down at Pete’s head, which was resting on her lap as she played with his hair, slowly twirling her fingers through his hair. She had agreed to come to the studio with him today since it was her only day off this week, unless the store magically burned down, and they didn’t know when they could have time again.
Pete typed up a text message, asking her who she thought the top was between the two on the couch, and sent it to Casey’s phone, hoping her phone was on vibrate, and thankfully it was; he realized this when he felt it vibrating against his shoulder.
Casey took her phone out and looked at the message, and then looked at Patrick and Joe again, before replying that it was Patrick.
Pete opened his phone when he got the text and snorted softly, shutting his phone. Yeah, Patrick as a top, he thought. He’s definitely the bitch. His phone vibrated again, and he took his out, looking at the message from Casey who had just slid her phone in her pocket. ‘Look at how Patrick has his arm around Joe’s shoulder and his other arm is around Joe’s waist, while Joe’s arm is around Patrick’s waist, the other one tucked against Patrick’s side, when it could easily go behind him. Now picture them as me and you. Patrick is the top. Joe is the bottom.’
Casey looked down at Pete as he looked up at her before he looked over at the two. Sure enough, under close inspection, Patrick was the top and Joe was the bottom. He stared at the two, both with small smiles on their faces. “DUDE!” Patrick and Joe looked up, lifting a confused brow at their friend. Pete looked at Joe. “Are you seriously the bitch!?” Pete exclaimed, only to yelp and look up at Casey in shock when she slapped the side of his head and looked down at him with a stern look.
Casey shook her head. “That was too rude,” she said as she rubbed the spot she’d slapped.
“Actually Peter,” Patrick said, making Pete look at him, realizing Casey was right since Patrick only called him Peter when he was mad at him. “Joe and I switch. And Casey’s right, it was rude of you to say it like that.”
Pete ducked his head against Casey’s lap and gave a small nod. “I’m sorry guys, I shouldn’t have said it like that,” he said softly, his guilt evident in his tone.
Joe sat up, looking at Pete with slight shock since he had actually apologized, and obviously meant it, in under five minutes. Joe looked at Casey, and then at Patrick, before he looked back to Pete. “It’s alright Pete,” he said with a nod. “I forgive you man. Besides, although Trick and I switch, I am mainly the bottom.”
Casey smiled as Joe and Patrick shared small kiss and smiled at each other. She looked down at Pete when he looked up at her, giving her a small smile that she returned and ran her fingers through his hair.

Pete smiled as he held her in his arms, in his room, at his house, knowing there would be no trouble over her being there. She was in a light sleep that she had fallen into when he had decided to turn the tables and play with her hair. They had gotten to his home after a long day at the studio and she had crashed in his arms when he stroked his fingers through her hair the first time. He kissed the top of her head and closed his eyes as he slid his other arm around her. The whole time being careful to keep his movements to a minimum so not to wake his girlfriend.
Casey snuggled deeper into his chest and sighed softly in her sleep. She mumbled something incoherent in her sleep and shifted against him, making him smile.
“I love you baby,” he whispered against her hair, to her sleeping form, and kissed her head again before closing his eyes.
