Anna's POV
"Thank you Chicago! We'll see you all next time!" Pete shouted into the microphone as Andy beat out the last bar of the song. Everyone in the crowd screamed as the boys ran off stage.
"Good show!" I squealed as I gave them all hugs.
"Thanks, Anna." Patrick grinned as he downed half a bottle of water.
"Seriously. I think that's the best show you've done all tour!" I exclaimed. I was Fall out boy's inturpreter, so I went on tour with them. I spoke 9 different languages, not counting english. I spoke French, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Dutch, and Greek. I ordered food or whatever for them in countries where people didn't speak english. They hired me after Andy almost got beat up for pronouncing something wrong in Japanese. He was trying to say "Thank you", but he actually said "I want to spank you" to some girl. Her boyfriend heard, and let's just say it got a little tense. And Voila, enter me. The boys had been in Chicago for three days, and now we were flying to Toronto, doing a few shows in Canada, heading to Europe, then Mexico, and I don't know where from there.
"That was some INSANE screaming, Pete." Andy said. Pete grinned.
"I know. I think I spit my tonsils out into the moshpit." He laughed. He and Joe high-fived. There was the usual backstage antics as everyone got ready to get back into the bus and head to the airport.
"Goodbye Sweet Chicago" Patrick sang as he boarded the bus, to the tune of Sweet Home Alabama.
"I miss it already." Joe sighed as the bus pulled away from the curb.
"We're going to Anna's neck of the woods now!" Ansy said. I rolled my eyes as I took a seat on the couch in the front of the bus.
"Hey, yeah! I forgot you're from Toronto Anna!" Pete said.
"Yeah, unfortunatly." I snorted.
"Aww, what's wrong with Toronto?" Pete teased.
"I took this job to ESCAPE that place, not go back." I said quietly.
"Don't you miss your home?" PAtrick asked.
"No, quite frankly. I'm glad we're only there for 5 days. I'll be counting the seconds." I said. The topic turned away from my hometown, and I couldn't have been happier. I hated going home, in fear of seeing him. I shook it from my mind and tried to appear at least somewhat enthusiastic, but his memory kept creeping back into my brain.
"What so you think, Anna?" Joe said.
"Huh?" I said, snapping back into reality.
"Do you think I should grow an afro again?" He asked.
"Hells yes you should." I said.
"See! Told you so!" Pete said, sticking out his tounge. We joked around until we arrived at the airport. WE checked our bags and got through customs fairly quickly. We were sitting in the main lobby waiting for our flight when pete got up and announced he was going to go find a coffee place. About five minutes after he left, my cellphone went off. I had a new text message. It read:
Go down the hallway in about 10 minutes. There's a blue door past the gift shop on your right. Go in.
XXX
Pete.
My heart started to beat faster. I anxiously waited ten minutes.
"I think I"m gonna go look for Pete. HE's probobly gotten swarmed by fans." I said to no one in particular. Patrick mumbled something about taking MACE, but no one said anyhting after that. They were all wiped. It WAS three in the morning after all. I walked down the hallway. Sure enough, past the gift shop, there was a blue door. I made sure no one was looking, then slipped inside. Almost as soon as I closed the door, Pete was pressing against me, kissing me passionantly. I opened my mouth and he slid his tounge in, deepening the kiss. After a few minutes, I pulled away, trying to catch my breath. Pete held me close to him.
"I missed you." He whispered, nipping my earlobe.
"You've been with me all day!" I laughed.
"But not like this." He said, nuzzling my neck with his nose. We had been together secretly for about 6 months. WE didn't want anyone to know because we didn't know how it would affect me working with the band. Not to mention the press would be insane.
"Your crazy." I told him, a smile in my voice.
"Crazy in love!" He said. He started to sing the Beyonce song, letting go of me to dance stupidly around the room, which was what seemed to be an empty conference room.
"You are a dork." I said, hopping up to sit on a small counter that ran the length of the room ans swinging my legs. He stopped dancing and came to stand in front of me, putting his hands on my thighs.
"But I'm your dork." He said smiling. I grinned back. Pete's phone started to ring. He groaned and answered it.
"Hello?" Hey, PAtrick. Yeah, Anna found me. The coffee line is INSANELY long. IT's a Starbucks. I dunno, about ten minutes? No, thats okay, I'm sure we'll be fine. See you in ten, then." Pete said, hanging up. "I guess we should go back." He sighed, resting his head on my shoulder. I kissed the top of his head and jumped off the counter.
"Yeah, but your gonna SO love me." I grinned.
"Why?" HE asked.
"Because guess who booked the hotel rooms? Guess who put yours and mine beside each tohers, and Joe, PAtrick, and Andy around the corner and at the end of the hall? And did I mention that side-by-side rooms have an adjoinging door between them?" I said cheekily.
"Woo! Hotel sex!" Pete said, throwing his hands in the air.
"Psssh. IF your lucky." I teased. We kissed again and walked out of the room. We walked back to where the boys were waiting.
"Where's the coffee?" Andy asked. Joe was asleep across two chairs, and Patrick was zoned out on his shoes.
"We deiced to forget about it. The line was crazy." Pete said, thinking quickly. He sat down. I sat down beside him as close as possible without drawing suspision. An announer came on and said that our flight was now boarding at Gate 4. WE rushed over there and boarded the plane. We worked it so that Pete and I were sitting beside each other. IT was now 4 in thr morning, so we were able to play it off that I was falling asleep on Pete's shoulder because I was so tired. He laid his head on top of mine and whispered "I love you". I whispered it back and snuggled into his neck. As the plane took off, I fell asleep.
