The Search For Explanations
Sukai looked through the endless amounts of scrolls. A few of them cought her eyes. She noted that almost all of them were ones she had been looking for at one time or another.
This probably explains why I never found some of these scrolls. She thought.
Sasori sat on the floor taking apart his let hand from his forearm and then taking out some tools from underneith his cloak. He began to work on a the internal mechanism of his left hand. Sukai sometimes took the scroll out of the slot and looked at its contents before putting it back. She only needed to look at it once because she had a photographic memory. Every so often she would glance down at Sasori who worked on his hand. Then after about her fivth glance his way she finally asked him what specifically he was doing.
"Sasori what are you doing? And i dont want a simple answer such as, 'fixing my hand', i want to know specifically what your doing" she asked. Sasori looked up from his hand and sighed a bit.
"Well considering we might be here for a while i decided to work on my hand because ive always got to have something to back up my battle skills if my stategy doesnt go as planned. Right now im just slipping in some senbon needles within the finger so that way i could just point and shoot. But i also have to fix the wiring so that i can still manipulate my fingers instead of being stiff because of the needles. Tricky, but managable." He said while looking down at his hand again. Within that phrase he looked down at his hand and back up a few times. Sukai looked at his hand going over everything with her eyes and then she kind of blanked and looked to be in thought. She snapped out of it after a while and sat down. When she hit the ground she spotted a scroll parallel from her at eye level. She got on her knees and shuffled to get it. Taking it out she looked at the contents like she did with other. Her eyes didnt go over it once, they went over it many times. She couldnt beleive what it was.
Theres no way, this is impossible. Ive searched for this the day after i left kumo. there is no way akatsuki had it for this long...
Sasori noticed that she held onto that scroll longer than she had with any other scroll. He shifted his eyes over to her and read the outside of the scroll.
Kuchiyose: Nisshoku
Sasori just stared at it questionly. That was a scroll he was sent to get a few years back. He vaguely remember the mission getting it. It was okay, a heavily guarded scroll. Then again almost all the scrolls hes collected were heavily guarded.
Theres no way...the last person who summoned Nisshoku died, and it was said the scroll was either lost or burned along time ago. How can it be here? Sukai thought with wide eyes. She wanted to try this jutsu out right there. But she knew she couldnt. Not yet. Everyone who was even able to summon Nisshoku died right after. Nisshoku turns against you. There is only suppose to be one person able to summon him without ending up dead afterwards. Her moon gift wont even stop that. Even she would die if she was not the bearer. This was porbably the only thing that could kill her. The other other way to equal the forces are to bring in the sister summon of it, Gesshoku. That was the one summon that would actually benefit her. Sukai was looking for that too.
If i recall... She thought.
Two great people found the way to summon two of the most fower creatures in the world. They each recorded it for their village's sake. This was it. The trump card that would be worshipped. Once the scrolls were written they were put under guard duty at almost all times. There was always someone looking after it. Many tried to steal it. Those who were successful and even attempted to summon the god of the moon and sun died right in the middle of it. No one was able to summon either of the gods till the earlier years where founder of soon to be clans were born. Headstrong that was sure. These people were the beginning of great things. The settlement of the people we would now call Shinobi. When war broke out between the new stong villages the kages that held the scrolls of the sky gods were dying to use the jutsu that would release great power beyond beleif.
Only one of the sky gods was able to be summoned to the world of the people. It was right at the momment that the shinobies of Kumo were in its weakest states. Many dead some thought that the great village will fall and its people who knew the jutsus of the sky would be exstint. The raikage at the current time, who was fairly young and reckless, didnt waste anytime thinking. He ordered his shinobies to bring him the scroll. He was going to attempt the summon. Some of them rebelled, telling him that it was suicide. He himself was not strong enough to summon the god of the black moon. He didnt care for them. Anyone who wanted to take it with him physially would die by his more loyal shinobis.
He cried out loud with his arm slit from the elbow to the middle of his forarm and called forth Nisshoku! the eind blew in everywhich direction blowing some shinobis about, while others used chakra to hold still. The clouds of the night grew darker and then there was a single clearing. in that clearing of the sky there was only a ring of light. nothing else. Down from the sky fell a shadow. a HUGE one. It was big and the shape of a human. Before it even touched the ground the entire light suddenly lit up so bright no one could see. And the young raikage died...there just laid his body on the ground mutilated...
Just where has this scroll been for all that time? that was about almost a century ago!
All of that happened in a matter of seconds but it felt like almost an hour. Sasori just stared at her. At some points Sukai's face changed. He wondered what she was thinking...
