Rise and Fall: Nine Months
0 reviewsJust another teenage romance poem. From falling for him, to falling on my face.
0Unrated
Stress relieving piece mainly. Writers block on Operation: Gemstone so don’t even ask.
Know me? Maybe you’ll know who it’s about. Maybe not. And I’ve only been unfaithful once, most of you know when. So keep that in mind.

March
You held my hand,
Looked me in the eyes
And swore never to forget me
With a simple kiss
April
You held me close
Talked of innocent things
And took my world by storm
With passionate kisses
May
You held me closer
Simply my best friend
Brightening my sky
Every time you met my eyes
June
You still dazzle me
It’s getting harder
To resist the forbidden
My best friend
July
You know just when to call
Not even knowing his crime
With one kiss
The forbidden fruit is mine
August
Sweet summer nights
In the back of your truck
Their beginning to wonder
About the glow in my eyes
September
I think he might know
That I can’t think of anything
But you
And last night
October
You’re changing
I’m scared
More insistent
Are your questions
November
I won’t give in
Fighting ensues
I push you out
Innocent I will remain
December
I still love you
You want back in
I know better than to agree
The pains reaching unbearable
*
Ten minute piece, but I find editing my poetry doesn’t always help much. If you know who it’s about I’ll try to answer any raised questions.
