  Hilarious, and underneath, it has the makings of a great story. The slip from the Flaming Chickens and the surreal Mr Lovegood were brilliant.

  Really enjoying this AU, Luna is beautiful, of course, and her daddy is delightfully dippy.
  I can see Harry being happily befuddled by the combination and having a wonderful summer because of it.
  Now, where and when will the conflict arise.
  There must be conflict.
  It's in the rules.

  fun story; i'm going to agree with some of the other posters, that i really do like Mr Lovegood, he is a hoot! I just wonder if he was this dippy before his wife died?

  Great to see more of this, and Luna is a treat as always, along with Mr. Lovegood as well. I think that Harry is going to grow up quite a bit here, and really look forward to how the rest of the vacation goes for all of them, as well as how the Order reacts when they realize Harry isn't there at all.

  I'll just agree with all the folks above.. wowsers! nice to see someone do research on snowy owls too!
  
  then there was the one where a duck was going into the 7-11 and stealing chips.. saw it on youtube..
