If you had told Edward Elric twelve years ago that he would be a State Alchemist, with a metal arm, metal leg and metal brother, he most likely would have told you that you were full of, erm, "it".
If you had told Alphonse Elric twelve years ago that whenever he spoke his voice would echo inside a hollow suit of armor, he would have politely asked you which asylum you had escaped from.
And now?
Now, if you were to tell the Elrics that within twenty-four hours one of them would be dead and the other one would be happy... I don't think they would have believed you, just like if someone had told them about their current lives twelve years ago. But that came true... So will this?
And if it were to be true, which brother is which?
Only time will tell... Twenty-four hours, to be precise.
