Emily got home at dusk; she opened the door and walked in
“did you have fun?” asked her mother walking up, Emily nodded as walked in with a few men
“yes” she replied as she told them where she room was, Mrs Way looked a little shocked
“where are you going?” she asked a little furious, Emily looked at her
“moving out” she replied as she went to walk up the stairs, Mrs Way nodded
“I will see you in a few weeks them when you are broke again” she replied making Emily laugh
“mother, I am sure I will be fine” she replied as she walked up and saw the guys packing her stuff
“leave the furniture, just the stuff” she said, the nodded and packed quickly as the men carted them down to the truck waiting, Emily took one final look at her room as she shut it and walked down stairs
“goodbye mum, I love you” she replied as Mrs Way walked into the kitchen without speaking, Emily nodded as she placed her key on the side table in the hallway and walked out, Emily got into the car waiting for her as the men got into the truck
“see you there” she said as the car moved away, the men nodded as the finished packing.
Emily walked into the apartment and smiled, Frank had it set up really sweet, his place wasn’t messy at all, just a few things laying about, she opened a few windows and aired the place out as she went into the kitchen and checked the fridge, some couple of months old milk and a rotten tomato which made Emily laugh a little as she made a list of food she needed, a knock on the door made Emily jump, she walked over to it and smiled as Alicia was standing there
“hey, I just got back, you okay?” she asked, Emily nodded as Alicia walked in
“wow neat place you have here, I have never been in franks place before” she said, Emily laughed
“me either but now I live here” she replied making them both laugh, the moving guys showed up and put everything in the spare room as Emily and Alicia talked, Emily paid them as they left
“I need to do some grocery shopping, want to join me?” asked Emily, Alicia smiled and nodded
“yeah me too, Mikey left crap in our fridge that went off” she said making Emily laugh
“well let’s go” she said, Alicia nodded as Emily grabbed her bag as they walked out
“nice car” said Emily as Alicia unlocked it
“it’s Mikey’s, but since he is away, the mice will play” said Alicia as she started the engine as they drove off, Emily sighed as she still felt a little weird in the stomach
“you okay?” asked Alicia, Emily nodded
“just sick in the stomach still” she said, Alicia laughed
“you could be pregnant” she said making them both laugh
“doubt it, because you two use protection right” she said, Emily stopped laughing and froze
“fuck” she said making Alicia look at her
“no problem, we will get a test okay” she said, Emily nodded as Alicia drove to the supermarket.
They walked in and grabbed stuff that they needed, Emily walked down the personal aisle as she made her way to the pregnancy area, she grabbed a few pregnancy kits and placed them in the trolley as she made her way around grabbing the rest on her list, Alicia caught up with her as they were at the checkout, Emily looked at her
“what if I am” she said as she unloaded her groceries, Alicia smiled
“well if you are, I am sure it will be fine, Frank loves you” she replied making Emily nod, she paid the guy and then waited for Alicia to finish with her stuff.
“thanks so much for helping me today” said Emily as she put the last bag on the counter, Alicia smiled
“I will see you tomorrow okay, you can call me anytime” she said as Alicia hugged Emily as she left, Emily smiled
“okay see you tomorrow” she replied as she shut the door and locked it, Emily unpacked the groceries and looked at the pregnancy box, she sighed and walked up the bathroom.
Emily sat down on the couch as she waited, her mind racing as the phone rang which made her jump
“hello” she said, Frank smiled as he sat on the bus
“hello stranger” he replied
“I miss you” he said making Emily cry a little
“I miss you too” she said
“what's wrong?” he asked sensing something was up, Emily sighed
“just missing you badly” she said, Frank smiled
“the show was good, but I wish you were here to see me play” he said, Emily smiled
“so do I, It’s just I am so tired” she replied, Frank frowned
“have you seen the doctor?” he asked making Emily froze as she picked up the test and read it
“I don’t think I need to” she replied, Frank sighed
“and why not?” he asked a little frustrated, Emily took a deep breath
“because it says positive Frank” she said softly, Frank didn’t say anything for a while
“what?” he said, Emily looked at the test again
“I am pregnant” she replied as Frank nodded to himself
“are you sure?” he asked, Emily sighed
“I am holding the test right now” she replied as she started to cry again
“please don’t cry, I am coming home okay” he said making Emily nod to herself
“I am okay, you don’t need to come home” she said as frank grunted
“I need to, this is something we need to be together with” he said, Emily looked down at the test
“are you happy?” she asked as she waited, frank smiled
“yes I am happy” he said as Emily smiled
“me too” she replied as Emily heard Gerard singing in the bus
“don’t tell anyone please” she said, frank smiled
“our little secret, now get some rest, I love you so much” he said, Emily smiled more
“I love you too frank” she replied
“goodnight” he said softly
“goodnight frank” she replied as she hung up and suddenly felt very tired as she wondered to the bedroom and crashed into the bed, Emily smelt frank as she closed her eyes and drifted to sleep.

Emily woke up with the feeling she was going to be sick, she ran to the bathroom and threw up, her stomach ached badly as she sat on the tiled floor, her head pounded as she sat there and felt the throwing up again, she stayed calm as she felt the feeling pass, she laughed to herself as she only found out she was pregnant and had not thrown up before that, Emily walked down to the kitchen as she put some bread in the toaster, she grabbed a glass and poured some juice as she took a sip and felt a little better as the toast pop, Emily put some honey on her toast as she walked into the lounge room and sat down, she took a bite of her toast and felt sick, she placed it down and ran to the bathroom throwing up again, she sighed as she rinsed her mouth and started the process again but with luck it stayed in her stomach, Emily smiled as she laid on the couch and watched some television, she smiled as she touched her stomach wondering if it was a girl or a boy as she rubbed gently, then it hit her, she was going to be a mother in nine months, a reality check which meant sacrificing her life for a new life, deep down she felt she was doing something good and not a mistake of what her mother thought. A knock at the door made Emily jump, she slowly got up and walked over to the door as she opened it, Frank stood there looking tired but happy as he smiled at her, Emily broke down as she cried when she saw him
“shhh Emily I am here now” he said, Emily nodded as she felt Frank pull her close to him and kissed her head
“how are you feeling?” he asked, Emily looked at him
“sick, I have been throwing up all morning, but I am better now” she replied, Frank kissed her lips
“come lets go inside” he said softly, Emily nodded as they walked back in and shut the door, Frank walked to the bedroom and placed his stuff inside and came back to Emily who was sitting on the couch looking nervous, Frank sat down and sighed
“so we are pregnant” he said, Emily nodded as she felt Frank’s arms wrap around her, he smiled
“I am happy that you are the mother of my child” he said, Emily smiled as he kissed her neck softly
“I am happy too, just getting used to the feeling that we are going to be parents” she said making Frank smirk
“its a shock” he replied as Emily laughed a little
“yeah it is, this is what happens when you have sex” she said as Frank looked at her
“yeah I know, but it felt right” he said, Emily smiled
“yeah” she replied as Frank’s mobile rang, Frank sighed as he answered it
“hey Gee, what’s up?” he asked as he held Emily close
“yes she is fine, I know, but Jack will be fine filling in for me for two weeks” he said a little frustrated, Emily took a deep breath
“because I needed to be home for a while, Fuck Gerard it’s not about being laid” he said as Emily took the phone of him
“gee, I’m pregnant” said Emily softly, the phone line was quiet as Gerard digested it
“can I speak to frank please” he said, Emily sighed as she handed it back to Frank, Frank looked at Emily who shrugged
“congratulations man, I am sorry” he said, Frank smiled
“it’s okay, it’s Emily's news to tell not mine” he said, Emily frowned a little as Frank talked some more, Frank hung up and hugged Emily
“it’s your news too Frank, I just had to tell him to stop you getting mad” said Emily, Frank smiled as he gently kissed Emily
“I know sweetie, but I want you to tell people when you are ready too” he said, Emily smiled
“well in twelve weeks we can tell the world” she replied, Frank smiled as he gently kissed her stomach
“Emily I love you” he said softly as he kissed up to her neck slowly, Emily smiled
“I will love you forever Frank Iero” she replied as there was a knock at the door, Emily got up and answered it
“Alicia” she said smiling, Alicia smiled as she walked in
“frank” she said in shock as she looked at Emily
“its positive isn’t it” she said softly, Emily nodded as Alicia hugged her softly
“congratulations you two” she said, Emily smiled as Alicia looked around the place
“where is Mikey?” she asked Frank looked at her
“he is still on tour, I took a leave of absence until they come back” he said, Alicia nodded as she hugged Emily again
“well my mother wants me to come over for a few days, I wanted to say goodbye until then, ohh I am so happy for you two” she said as she left, Emily smiled more as she watched Alicia go
“so what do you want to do today?” asked Emily, Frank smiled
“well I think we might go car shopping” said Frank, Emily looked a little confused
“ for you silly, you don’t want to walk everywhere with a kid, especially when you need to go to the city” he said, Emily nodded as Frank grabbed his keys as Emily grabbed her bag as they walked out
Frank walked to the double garage as they got into his car, Emily smiled
“nice ride” she said making Frank laugh as he started the engine, Frank smiled as Emily jumped at the loudness, Emily took his hand
“you will be fine” he said as he packed out and drove away from the apartment, Emily smiled as she looked around the town, Frank pulled up at a car shop and turned off the car as Emily got out, as soon as they walked inside a sale’s man walked up to them
“how can I help you today?” he asked smiling, Frank sighed
“we need a new car, four doors, all the safety features, and black” he said making Emily laugh, the guy smiled and showed them that matched Frank’s requirements, Emily looked at the car and smiled
“its great” she said Frank nodded
“we will get back to you” he said as he took Emily’s hand and walked out Emily looked confused
“you didn’t like it?” she asked, Frank smiled
“yeah I did, just thought we should wait a little” he said, Emily nodded as they got into the car and drove off
“so where to now?” she asked, frank smiled
“well I was thinking you should meet my parents” he said, Emily nodded as she went quiet
“don’t worry they will love you” he said, Emily smiled as Frank touched her thigh
“thanks” she replied as Frank turned off a street and slowed down, Emily looked at the house, it was picture perfect with even picket fences, Frank got out and opened Emily’s door for her, Emily smiled as she got out, Frank took her hand as they walked up the path, frank pressed the door bell and heard his mother walk up to the door
“Frankie” she said smiling and then looked at Emily
“mum this is Emily” said frank, Emily went to shake hands with her but instead she got a hug surprising her
“welcome to my home” she said as they walked in Emily first noticed the family photos that were on the walls, as frank and his mother walked on, Emily took her time to look at them, she smiled as she saw one of frank in his school uniform with his hair all punked up and his lip ring showing through his smile, Emily gently touched the photo and saw the man she loved, she kept looking at the photos and saw one with him and Niomi at their engagement party, they looked so happy she always wondered what really happened, frank never talked about it but one day he might.
“hey” said a man looking at her, Emily thought it was frank’s father
“hi, I am Emily, frank’s partner” said Emily, he smiled as he walked closer
“I am frank’s stepfather John” he said, Emily shook his hand as she returned to the photo
“they looked so happy” she said, John frowned
“they were once” he replied, Emily nodded as John walked Emily to another photo, it was of her and Frank when they were little,
“he always spoke so much about this girl, he kept calling her the true princess in his life, always telling us when he saw her and when she spoke to him” he said, Emily’s heart swelled as she kept looking at the photo
“john that photo is me” she said, John smiled as he looked at the young girl and then at Emily and smiled
“I didn’t know, wow I cannot believe that you two are together” he said as he walked down the hall to meet up with everyone, Emily looked at the photo again and then smiled, Frank stood in the hallway and looked at Emily
“the girl of my dreams” he said making Emily jump and turn around
“I didn’t know you thought of me that much” she said, Frank smiled and walked over to her
“I have and always will” he said, Emily smiled as she kissed his lips
“I feel the same way” she replied, Franks mother walked past them and smiled as she walked up the stairs to grab something
“Frank I need your help” she said, Frank smiled
“I will be back in a minute, why don’t you go and grab something to drink, Dad is in there” he said, Emily nodded as she walked down to the kitchen as John looked up
“hey would you like a glass of wine?” he asked, Emily smiled
“no thank you” she replied as John poured her a glass of juice and handed it to her
“thanks” she said as she took a sip and then felt the feeling of being sick
“umm bathroom” she said, John looked at her
“up the stairs first door on the right” he said, Emily nodded as she ran down the hall and up the stairs as Frank and his mother walked out of their room, Emily looked at frank as she went into the bathroom and threw up, frank walked in and closed the door, he walked over and sat down next to Emily who was sitting up
“all day sickness” she smiled as she threw up again, frank rubbed her back softly until Emily stopped throwing up , she sat up again as frank pulled her into his arms, Emily wrapped her arms around him and felt a bulged in his pants
“what's that?” she asked pulling away, frank smiled
“well I wanted to do this well not in this situation, Emily, I have always loved you ever since I have met you, you make me smile and you were always there for me, you stayed close to me when I was at my most vulnerable, you make me complete, what I want to ask you is, will you marry me?” he asked, Emily looked shocked, she gently smiled and looked frank in the eyes
“yes” she said, frank smiled and kissed her lips making Emily pull away
“I just threw up my breath is disgusting” she said making frank laugh
“I don’t care” he said and kissed her again, Emily laughed as they parted as frank went into his pants and pulled out a ring, Emily looked down and gasped, it was a antique diamond set ring with little diamonds surrounding the main rock
“it was my grandmothers, I would feel when she died she would have wanted you to have it, so now she will be happy knowing we are together and we always will be” he said, Emily cried right there and then, she remember how sad it was at her funeral, she was always so kind and happy to Emily, she was like another grandmother to her
“I love you” she said, Frank smiled and kissed her he slid the ring on her finger which fitted perfectly
“I love you so much Emily” he said as he helped Emily off the floor and back down to the kitchen where Frank’s mother was smiling
“anything you would like to tell us” she said as John looked, Emily smiled as she lifted her hand, Frank’s mother smiled and hugged them both, John shook Frank’s hand and hugged Emily
“welcome to the family” he said to Emily who smiled
“also Frank and I are expecting” she said, John looked at Frank and cried
“I knew it” said Mrs Iero as she hugged her
“please call me Sarah” she whispered into Emily’s ear, John looked up
“time for something to eat, how about we cook up on the barbeque” he said, Everyone nodded as Sarah brought Emily some dry bread
“it helps” she said, Emily nodded as she took a bite, Frank sat down as Sarah walked over to the cupboard and pulled out a book and came back to Emily who was sitting down at the table, Frank sighed
“here it goes again, the book” he said, Emily looked at him and stood up
“please excuse me” she said as she walked out the back and down to the garden bench and sat down, Frank looked at Emily as he walked out and sat down next to her
“Emily” he said, Emily looked at him
“please don’t frank” she said as she wiped her eyes from the tears
“I have never been engaged, so when you mother wanted to show me the book I was excited, but you have seen it I know, I just want you to see it my side” she said frank nodded as Emily looked at the flower as frank took her hand
“I am sorry I didn’t realise what was going on” he said, Emily nodded as she looked at him
“Frank I love you so much, I want us to work, for me personally and for this child we made together” said Emily, Frank looked at Emily as a few tears fell down his cheeks
“I love you too Emily” he said as he wrapped his arm around her, Emily smiled and kissed his lips softly
“do you want to go home, I think we need some alone us time” he said, Emily nodded as Frank helped her up
“mum, dad we are going to go home, I want Emily to rest” he said, Sarah and John nodded as they hugged them goodbye, Emily slid into the car as Frank sat down
“home” he said, Emily smiled
“Home” she replied as Frank drove back to the apartment.
Emily sat on the couch and looked at the television, MCR were on the news saying that Frank was not touring because of the flu, Gerard looked into the camera’s
“get well Frankie, the band is thinking of you” he said with a smirk, Emily laughed as she watched, Frank walked in looking at Emily
“so what's so funny?” he asked, Emily looked at him
“ohh I just didn’t know you had the flu” she said
“and gee said the band is thinking of you” she added which made Frank laugh as he sat down next to her
“I called the doctors and we have an appointment tomorrow” he said, Emily nodded as she snuggled into Frank
