The ground was cold and wet. Alyce could hear the crunch as she walked through the leaves. Crunch….crunch….crunch… the ground went. The morning air was light and breezy with a small hint of wind. The air felt cool against her skin as she walked down the path towards the house. She could see the shadow of the house in the background. Its terracotta brick walls, brown slate tiled roof with the white picket fence surrounding it. The green wooden door stood out as she got closer and closer.

Tap, tap, tap. She knocked at the door.

"Come in"

An old sounding voice came from inside. Alyce was scared. Her parents had just died in a tragic accident. Now she was in care of her mothers sister, Aunt Riley. It was Alyces first time in meeting her Aunt, as she wasnt born when the old, wrinkly woman moved away from the town of Bithem.



Alyce slowly opened the old, creeky door and what was inside, she will never forget the sight.
