"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" I yelled while jumping out of my bed. I looked around my room realizing it was still night. I lay a hand on my face, instantly covering my mouth and left eye. "It was only a dream.... no a nightmare to be more precise... but it felt soo real..."
It really wasn't that surprising.... I have been having weird dreams about death lately... but I couldn't help but feel terrified about the dream. Something tells me something bad will happen.. real soon. It has something to do with death... I can just feel it...
I looked outside my window... I couldn't help but smile. Tonight was a full moon. Full moon's always made me feel better. Though I knew it was just a phase, the full moon always made me think of life... In fact, all the phases made me think of life.
The moon can wane just as life can seem to get smaller. Sometimes we are given chances to start a new life which is like a new moon. Life can also seem to get better and better and we just grow like a waxing cresent. And life can seem complete at times, just like a full moon...
To me, life is like a full moon when you are a child, or you're a really old person. But even so... in between those two, your life will have a combination of all those phases. The only difference between the phases of a moon and life is that... Life does not go in a cycle. You won't know what would happen. Life is always unpredictable.....
As for me, my life is kind of like the waning cresent phase. Something keeps on saying that something horrible might happen (it may be the author of this story, Wolf of the ANBU). I can just feel it... my life is going downhill....
Watching the moon and stars made me forget about me dream and troubles. I lay down on my bed and looked into the sky. I slowly closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep........
"Hey Akacia!!! Wake up!! You're going to be late for school!!" a distant voice that probably belonged to my brother called out to me.
"Nnnnngggghhhh...." I became more awake... but I was still in deep slumber.
"What time did she sleep?? I told her to sleep before 10:30! This is exactly why I tell you children to sleep early especially on school days!" There was no doubt about it that, that voice belonged to my mother. It's obvious cause she's nagging. I swear do ALL mothers nag? Is that why they exist? I mean surely the don't have fun nagging at people all the time. "AKACIA WAKE UP!!!!!! IF YOU ARE LATE FOR THE FINALS TODAY I AM GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU!!!!!"(*1)
"Leave the little brat alone. Its not like she's doing good in school. In fact, her not coming to school is like an improvement to her grades. Kuro let's just leave already." That was most likely my annoying sister, Etsuko.(*2)
"We can't leave without Akacia.(*3) Hey Akacia... wake up... If you don't wake up, I'm not gonna take you to sword practice today."
Kuro's statement woke me up... but did he really have to threaten me like that. "I'm awake!! That means I'm coming with you right?!?"
Kuro stood there smiling. "Yeah.. Ju--"
"Hey brat, hurry up and get ready. Unlike you, I am smart and these finals are important to me."(*4)
"You smart?? HAH! That's a good one Etsuko! You just probably copy one of your friends," I yelled.
"For your information, I am smart naturally!" Etsuko put her hands through her hair and then continued "And even if I did copy off of my friends, at least I have friends to copy off of. Unlike you, I have more... much much more friends than what? 2? HAH! I'm just more loved than you and I'm taller!"
That did it! I may not be the tallest person in the world, but telling me that made me throw my pillow at her face.
"OH MY GOD YOU BI----"
Before Etsuko finished her sentence, my mother started to nag again. "AKACIA!!! That's no way a young girl should act! You're too violent!!" All I heard for the last couple of sentence was "Nag nag nag... AKACIA!!!! nag nag nag! nag nag nag nag nag nag nag.. nag nag!"
Finally when my mother was done with her nagging, my brother asked if he wanted to speak to me alone. I just sat there looking in the opposite direction with an angry look on my face.
"Kuro... I won't go to school today!!! Nuffin you's say will change my mind!!! Not even your black mail of swords practice can make me move!!! NOTHING I TELL YOU!!!"
"Akacia... you have to go to school today. It's the most important time of the year. And I have something that would be of interest to you."
I turned around, a bit curious to what Kuro had to say. "What is it Kuro?"
(*1) Great to know I have suuuch a loving mother who would always protect me and stuff.... P.S..... I hate the finals... they sooo gay.
(*2) You don't know how much I hate her... She's soooooooooooooooo fucking annoying.
(*3) Way to go Kuro!!! Always standing up for me.. now you know why he's the favorite out of my family... but it would be better if they left without me... I'll mention this again, just in case you didn't read #2. Finals are soooo gay and I hate them soo much.
