Betrayal

Betrayal is the conflict between the infatuated.
Betrayal is a sin in the bible which is stated.
The murderer of my mountainous pride,
The effect of friends who have painfully lied.
All of my fake friends betray,
So I sit here alone and stay.

Come forth now, you slithering angst,
Bite me with your hatred-filled fangs.
Paralyzed, I am now poison-struck
In the corner of regret, I am solidly stuck.
Regret of trusting friends who'd later kill me.
Letting me down, true friends they'll never be.
