Disclaimer: Bleach and all of its characters are owned by Tite Kubo, his Japanese publishes, and Viz. I just play with the characters for grins and giggles.
A/N: Written for the Week 14 prompt at bleach_contest: filth in beauty. Ulquiorra introspective drabble. First time I've written for him, so I hope he's not too OOC.

It really made things too easy.
Humans were raised to believe that beauty – or handsomeness – equated to good. The more beautiful, the more angelic. By human standards, he was considered handsome, even beautiful. Therefore, he was good.
Not until he revealed himself as an Espada, as something that considered humans as nothing but cattle; just food – that they saw filth in beauty. That their long-held beliefs were nothing but lies.
For him there was not thrill of the hunt. His face brought his prey to him without effort, more often than not. Boring, perhaps, but he was never hungry.
