"Mama, no." Jessi stirred in her sleep. "Mama. I'm sorry Mama. I'm sorry." Her body shuddered under the filthy sheet. "I didn't mean to hurt you. Mama..." Slash went to touch her shoulder to wake her, but decided against it. "Jessi," He whispered. "What's making you cry?"
So, here I am again. I know this is a dream, but I don't want to wake up. I look straight ahead of me. "Mama." I whisper. A shadowed figure in the distance. "I'm sorry Mama. I didn't mean to hurt you." A tear rolled down her cheek. "It should've been me who died, not you. You were still so young." She looked up, the figure still looking away, in the opposite direction. Jessi shuddered. "I'm sorry, I made you hurt like that. I didn't mean to do it, but I couldn't help it." The tears streamed down her face, breaking down completely. The figure, unmoving, still stared off in the distance. "Please," Jessi whispered. "Please Mama. Forgive me." They both stood an equal distance apart. Jessi ran forward, opening her arms, as she wrapped her arms around the dark shape, it cumbled to the ground. A pile of ash. Jessi looked at the pile of dark dust around her, and screamed. A loud monsterous scream, almost, a howl. "MAMA!"
She was woken up by a sharp pain in the side of her face. Slash kneeled infront of her holding her tightly by the shoulders. "Jessi. You okay?" He asked. She breathed deeply, slowly forgetting the images in her mind. Her eyes softened and she touched the burning spot on her cheeks. She winced and laid her hands at her side, looking down into her lap. "Why..." She trailed off. Slash looked down at her. She snapped her head up and playfully pushed him off her lap. "Why did you slap me?" She laughed. Slash looked up at her, confused. She rolled around on the bed giggling. "What the hell is wrong with you?" He asked. He started chuckling too. He was still confused, but she was just so contagious. He couldn't help but laugh and tackle her. She squeeked when Slash had rolled around with her on the matress and eventually pinned her beneath him. They laid like that giggling and snorting for a few moments longer. They had calmed down and they were looking into eachother's eyes. Jessi, into those big brown puppy dog eyes. Slash, into those cold loving eyes. He rolled off her and picked up a knife. "What are you doing Slash?" She crawled back slowly. He pinned her down again. She squirmed. "Slash!" She yelled. "Get off me! What are you doing?" She was helpless as Slash raised the blade up above both their heads. His wamr eyes, dark and as cold as hers was. Jessi was defenceless. She couldn't attack the shell that she had protected for eighteen long years. In a flash, the metal piece was down, lodged in Jessi's neck. Eyes wide, she stared back at him, unmoving. Slash came to his sences and looked down at her. What had he done? The thing that let him live was dead. At his hands as well. Now he would surely die!
"Dick head!" He snapped his eyes open and jumped back, falling off the bed. He gasped as Jessi sat up, the blade staying still, held deep in her throat. She looked down at him, eyes dead, but filled with fire. "Why'd you do that, you fucker?" She grabbed the small piece that hang out of her neck and slowly pulled out the blade, wincing as she did so."Y...you're alive? I knew it!" He shot up and hugged her, only to be thrown back down by a very angry entity. She stared down at him. A sharp, cold stare, that would've made the God himself shudder. Slash was unphased though. He tilted his head to the side and chuckled. "So," He started. "What else about you haven't you told me?" He snapped his eyes open when he heard the door slam shut. He looked up and Jessi was nowhere to be found. "I'm sure she'll be back when she's calmed down." He whimpered to himself. Somewhere down inside him though, he knew this might not end well.
Jessi walked down the streets of LA, still fuming from Slash trying to kill her. "Fucker... try to kill me... I should totally... then..." She came up to an old coffee shop. She looked at the sign and smiled softly. She slowly walked through the door and looked around. She couldn't have been gone that long, she was sure he was still--
There, in dimly lit corner, a tall red haired boy. She walked up and sat down beside him. "Hey you fucking fucker! What's up?" She said happily. The boy gave her a cunfused side glance, but continued drinking his cup of odd smelling green liquid, as Jessi thought of it. She flicked him in the ear. "Hey! I'm talking to you dude!" He put his cup down and looked her in the eye, prepared to tear a strip right off her. "What the fuck do you want?" He yelled. "I didn't do anything to you! Fuck off bitch!" Jessi leaned back in mock surprise. "Why Willy, that wasn't very nice." She said, playfully waving a finger at him. She was loving this. The boy's face was turning an interesting shade of red that rivaled his hair colour. "Chill man." She said, raising her hands to her chest in defence. "You wouldn't hit your buddy, would you?" She asked. He titled his head to the side. "I don't understand." Jessi let an exsagerated sigh and reached for the hem of her jacket. She lifted it up slighty to show him her belly button. His eyes widened by what he saw. A tattoo that looked like three sixes, arranged in a circled pattern. He touched it lightly and felt how it it was scarred along the edges of each dark mark. She giggle at the light touch and pulled her shirt down. He looked her in the eye as she smirked. They stayed like that for a few long moment before Bill smiled and wrapped his arms around Jessi. "Oh my god! It's been so long Damian." "Uh, about that." She slid out of Bill's grasp and looked him in the eye. You can't call me Damian anymore. I need to keep my profile on the down low until I can figure out this whole 're-birth' thing. Okay?" She smiled, and he smiled back. "C'mon. I got some guys you just have to see!" Bill grabbed her by the forearm and dragged her out of the shop and down the street. "Willium, where are you taking me?" She yelped. "Just down here! Don't worry, you'll like these guys, I swear!" She sighed and allowed herself to be dragged down the semi busy street.
Bill and Jessi had burst through a rotten looking door. "Hey guys, check it out!" Axl had dragged Jessi into a small room where a tall lanky boy with shaggy blonde hair, and a slightly shorter boy with shoulder legnth brown hair turned around to look at them both. Jessi snapped her neck at them and stepped forward. Roughly pointing at them both, she yelled, "Hey, You're the bastarges that pushed me over the other night!" They both flinched, slightly nervous, but the feeling slowly dropped with Jessi's arm. She sighed and turned away. "Whatever. That dude probably would've beaten you senceless anyway. You certainly didn't need me chasing you." She smiled sweetly at them and flopped down on the dirty couch in the corner. "So, c'mon man, details." She said. "What I miss in the last eighteen years?" The two at the side looked at her, then at Bill, then at eachother, and back to Jessi. "Axl, who the fuck is this?" The brunette had asked. "This," Axl pointed. "This is the one I've been telling you about!" He grinned when the two men's eyes widened as they looked from Axl to Jessi. They slowly aproached her a hovered over her. She looked up, slightly nervous but didn't show it. "What the fuck are you looking at?" To emphisize, pokey the blonde in the stomach with the toe of her boot. "Is it true?" The brunette asked. "Are you really the spawn?" The two men looked more excited by the second. Jessi nodded. Obviously Bill hadn't kept his promise to her. She'd have to deal with him, but not right now. The blonde jumped. "Wow, we have the son of Satan! In our fucking room man!" Jessi's eyes flashed at this. "Say what!" She screamed. The two jumped back as she rose from the couch. Eyes peering throught the three on the other side of the room. She was prepared to kill the all. "The son Of Satan? Do I look like a boy to you?" She snarled, inching closer and closer to the terrified three. Axl stepped closer to her hands at his chest ready to fend her off. "Now Damian, calm down. You wouldn't hurt your old buddy, would you?" He gave a small smile. She took one more step forward and stopped. Her eyes wide, the green orb set in the centre, gone. The three looked at eachother, confused at what she was doing. Suddenly, she fell hard to the ground, cracking her head off the corner of a table as she did. Axl was by her side in a flash, pulling her shirt up. The mark on her stomach was gone. Jessi, had lost her soul.
