Please refrain from leaving your belongings unattended within the terminal. The current time is 5:00 AM Mountain Time.

I yawned as I lugged my suitcase down the terminal hallway, I was not used to the weight of my larger suitcase. I glanced around seeing the usual buisness people falling asleep in the increasingly uncomfortable seats. This only made me yawn even more, I groaned at the fickering board above me: Delayed.

I did not want my escape paradise to be prolonged anymore than it has. Huffing I made my way towards the gate, only to see Regan flirting with one of the other attendants. I then remembered how great I looked thanks to Christine, not as if Regan would notice--he preferred floosies.

I cringed at the hideous giggle from the petite blonde tucking hair behind her quaint ear. It made me sick how all Regan had to do was flash his white devil-may-care smile and girls would come running. He paid no attention to me as progressed further, I noted his foot was partially in my path.

Remembering what he had done to me once before I walked with my head high pretending not to notice that my large bag rolled right over his foot. I heard a grunt of pain as the wheel became stuck.

"Oh I'm sorry," I said sarcastically pulling my bag harshly as he let out another small outburst of pain--of course he couldn't look like a sissy in front of his lady friend. Rolling my eyes I paced down towards the plane--nothing would ruin this day.

We will now be board children and the elderly for flight A453 Calgary to Paris, France.

I fixed my uniform up and gave my head a shake letting my hair fall freely while gazing into the small mirror of the bathroom. Regan peaked his head in.

"Of course you have to look gorgeous for those handsome old men and darling children!" He winked. I ignored his snicker as I made my way to entry way to the plane, I would be greeting passengers and helping those who need help being seated.

This morning I did not hold anything back allowing myself to smile naturally, I really was happier than usual. An elderly man approached me--I could tell by his dress and worn face that he was handsome in his younger years.

"Hello sir, may I help you find your seat?" He grinned nodding to me, he retrieved his boarding pass from his blazer pocket.

"My eyes aren't what they used to be," he said squinting at the pass.

"Allow me," I said cheerfully snatching the pass, "If you'll come with me..." he offered me his arm and I laughed gingerly--I only wished really men were as polite these days.

"You remind me my daughter," he said as we walked down the aisle, "Classic movie star good looks and the modesty to boot!" I smiled sweetly at him as we reached his place.

"Let me know if you need anything else sir--" I turned around only to have a young girl to run into my legs, she clutched onto my knees trying not to fall over. She had dropped her toy and looked sad as it she couldn't see it under the seat.

I bent down, "Are you okay?" she nodded sadly, I caught a glimpse of the doll and snatched it up right away, "Oh! I think you dropped this." I gave it to her and she gave me a hug and thanked me taking off her mother thanked me as well as they passed. I only wished all passengers could have been as nice as these few.

Regan had watched me from the doorway, I only glared at him when I caught his gaze. He swiftly returned his attention to a young business woman who entered on her phone--she seemed to pass by him without a care, I smiled at Regan's defeated face. I figured finally a woman with some sense, she sat in my section that I would be taking care of.

"Ma'm" I said tapping her shoulder I realized she had just clapped her cellphone shut, she looked up at me with a smile. "Oh I'm sorry, I was going to tell you that all cellphones need to be off before we take flight."

"I know all too well," she said happily tucking it away in her pocket, "Might want to watch out my boss should be boarding shortly--he may be demanding..." she said with a wink.

"Thank you for the heads up." I said relieved.

If you need assistance please press the button above you and one of our attendants will be with you shortly.

The woman with the cellphones idea of her boss being demanding was an understatement I had ran back and forth to that spot more than a dozen times. First it was a request for alcohol, then a pillow, some more snacks, a question about the weather. The woman who I had learned went by the name Jocelin had tried her best to keep her boss at bay--he now was alseep and none the less against her shoulder.

"Would you like a pillow or anything?" I said pointing to the man who seemed to be making her uncomfortable, I handed her the one I held.

"Thank-you," she smiled graciously, "When I was brought on this trip I didn't realize that I'd be agreeing to this torture." she giggled a little as he snored loudly.

"Maybe some headphones?" I said with a snicker. I admired the woman minus this small setback she seemed very successful, from the conversations I pieced together I found out she was part of a design firm. I thought how exciting that would, and how accomplished she must be.

After seeing that she was settled I made my way to the back for a break of my own--this flight had been the longest I had been on.

I opened the small of the upper class casually scanning through for a cold juice, I settled on a raspberry flavour. My actions were stopped as I heard a conversation from the pilots cockpit.

"Regan, you really do need a new hobby." The co-pilot Tristan said.

"What do you mean?" Regan said with a snicker as he absentmindedly flicked switches.

"You don't need to sleep with every woman in Air Canada--there's no prize." Tristan looked at his friend. I peered through the doorway listening quietly, I know I shouldn't have been but this was good maybe I could get back at Regan.

"You think I've slept with all of them?" He cocked an eybrow.

"Well it sure seems like it--well all except one."

"Are you kidding? They all love this." Regan made a motion to his body. Rolling his eyes Tristan retorted:

"Torie sure doesn't give you the time of day." I almost jumped at the mention of my name, although, Tristan was right.

"That's true, but she's in a category all of her own." he said with a laugh. I almost burst through the door but realized it would be foolish.

"Oh don't play that card with me Regan--I even saw you glancing at her today, you know she's not half bad in the slightest." I thanked Tristan on the inside for sticking up for me.

"She secretly wants me," Regan teased, "Plus, I'm young why would I want to get invovled with someone who actually has taste or class?" Tristan chuckled at his reasoning. I found myself slightly blush at a compliment from someone who is usually so foul.

"Don't you just have a great future plan," Tristan gave his friend a shove, "But I am sure even if you tried you'd fail, she wouldn't be interested in 'your type.'" I smirked how right Tristan was, I was then caught by one of my co-workers.

"The business man wants to purchase more snacks," she said, I groaned taking one last sip of my juice and throwing it in a bin. I could hear a hushed curse from the cockpit as Regan caught sight of someone listening in--although he didn't know, I held a smirk upon my face the whole flight.
