Meeting An Old Friend
Benji looked around the building his convenience higher. He sighed and looked at Joel, “This is boring. I really don’t know anyone here.” He looked around again, “Wish I did…”
Hilary ran up and grabbed Joel’s shoulders, “Hey!”
Joel looked at her, “Hilary? You are supposed to be in the crowd.”
Hilary looked back, “Billy got me back here.” She looked at him, “Problem?”
Benji smiled
Joel shook his head and waved his hand, “Naw.” He looked around hands in his pockets
Hilary looked at Benji and smiled, “Hi…”
Benji looked at her and smiled, “Hey.”
Billy walked up holding his guitar case, “I ready to get to where we are supposed to be now. Chris said him and Paul were heading to the room.”
Joel looked at him and nodded, “Hilary coming?”
Billy looked at Hilary and nodded, “Yes…” He looked at Joel, “Why?”
Joel nodded and looked at Benji then Billy, “No reason.” He said uneasy
Hilary crossed her arms, “You have a problem with girls crowding ya?”
Joel waved his hand, “Uh no, no!” He smiled
She smiled, “Thought so.”
Joel looked at Benji and whispered, “You know she is so hard to get rid of?”
Benji smiled and shook his head
Billy watched Hilary and smiled a little then started walking
Benji looked at Joel, “I’m heading to the b-room you know? K? Be back in a jip…” He started walking
Joel watching him, “Weird talking but ok.. I understood it…” He looked at Hilary, “Follow meh.” He started walking
Hilary ran off after him
Benji walked out of the bathroom and started walking
“Benjamin Levi Madden… Long time no see…”
Benji stopped, that voice… could it be? He looked back
Tony Lovato stood there smiling, “Hey dude!”
Benji’s eyes went wide, “Tony?” He turned facing him
Tony nodded, “You recognize me! I’m so flattered!”
Benji chuckled and looked around then at him, “What are you doing here?”
Tony walked up, “I have my own band now. You’re not the only ones who have made it to the big time bud…”
Benji laughed rubbing the back of his head, “Uh, yeah…”
A memory flashed in his head, the first time Tony kissed him, reviled his feelings for him. His true side
Tony walked up, “You ever hear of Mest?”
Benji blinked, “Hey.. yeah I have… but I never really… Wait…” He pointed at him, “You’re Mest?”
Tony held out his arms, “The one and only!”
Benji smiled, “Cool…”
Tony nodded, “Yeah… very. Never thought we would be together again though.”
Benji blinked and smiled shrugging, “Not really.”
Tony watched him, “Unless, you have nothing to do with me?”
Benji looked at him, “It’s not that… I had a rough day…” He sighed
Tony watched him, “I see…” He crossed his arms, “Relax dude.”
Benji looked at the ground, “Well…” He glanced to the side, “It’s hard to… Dreams and everything.”
Tony watched him. He walked up and grabbed Benji’s shoulders, “About him?”
Benji blinked and looked away nodding, “Uh.. yeah…” He sighed
Tony smiled, “Don’t worry… everything will be ok.”
Benji looked up at him and pulled away slowly
Tony blinked, “Ben…”
Benji turned and started walking quickly down the hall
Tony watched him, “Benji…” He looked at his hands and then looked up at Benji who turned the corner. He smiled and started walking the other way
