Wow, thanks for giving harry some balls. that was a very slytherin way to get what he wanted, but it was very effective. I just hope that he finds someone like hermione early so that he can break her of the habit of beliving that people like dumbles are not always right, and it would give harry a good match for a future girlfriend, cunning and intelligence.Author's response
I always wondered what happened to child services in canon. I am not really leaning toward having Harry go out with anyone at all, but if I consider Hermione will certainly make the list. He won't meet her till Hogwarts though.Elementary Calculations

Wow, I like your Harry.
Please, let him keep his balls around Dumbles and McG!
I don't know what you have planned, but if he wants to gather influence, he needs people. Loyal people. In other words, Hufflepuffs. And we've seen the sorting hat can be convinced.
Just an idea... :D

Oh that was good, a little blackmail never hurt anyone....hell gin and the twins do it all the time! I love the way your writing about his core and training and everything, but from last chapter I'm a little confused, sounds to me like he found the energy from voldie inside his core but what I'm confused about cause its not real clear but were you trying to say that the energy from voldie is slowly disappearing!?!Author's response
I suppose it wasn't all that clear. You have the inner core, which is where he was drifting when that whole sequence started, and then he travels to the edges where he finds the shields and the remains from the AK. There are no horcruxes in this fic, so that energy is just energy.Elementary Calculations

I love Harry's approach to getting what he wants from Petunia. His cool demeanor is perfect. I especially like that he didn't use magic (or even the reference to magic) to make it happen. Just good old muggle technology.
Good work! Thanks for writing and sharing it.Elementary Calculations

Thanks for not making this harry a pussy like the canon, harry has balls, and its nice to see harry embrace his slytherin qualities, I can see harry being independent, powerful by the time dumbledore and minervra comes, hope harry doesn't fall for dumbledore grandfather act, no matter what harry thinks of dumbledore in the canon books, dumbledore was a manipulative bastard, simple as that. lookinf forward to the next chapter. PS: Have you posted this is on fanficition, if yes, can you give me the link so i can add this to my favourites.Author's response
I do indeed have this on ffn:

Heh, it's interesting to see Harry growing, already, in his powers and his appreciation of them. Keeping him ignorant of the wizarding world is going to result in some severe surprises when he chooses to display his wandless abilities (mind you, I suspect that, as soon as he finds out that wands are supposedly required to work magic, he's going to keep very, very quiet about the abilities he's found in himself while still practicing them in private every chance he gets).
I did love the way Harry handled Petunia, using strictly non-magical methods and some very carefully applied balckmail. His calm approach probably unnerved her more than a very emotional one would ever have done. Given his analytical nature, it's going to be real interesting to see how he deals with Dumbles and McGonagall. Despite how she might want him for her House, I suspect she's going to be disappointed with Harry going into Ravenclaw or Slytherin; though I could see him going for Gryffindor as protective camoflage. Things should get quite "interesting" once he gets to Hogwarts. I do think that, to fit with this Harry, Hermione will need to be a bit more skeptical of "received wisdom" and authority than she appears in canon; still, a gray!Hermione or Dark!Hermione could be a good match for him (OTOH, if there's a girl in his class in Slytherin who's smart enough to have fit in Ravenclaw, she'd be an ideal match). Then again, why couldn't have have both?Elementary Calculations

An interesting approach to the HP finds his power early plotline. It's early yet to see what you will do with this but with what you have so far your certainly off to a good start. Keep up the good start, I look forward to seeing what you do with this in the future.
