White stone. Silver wings. Seven tiers. The trademarks of Gondor that illustrated the old books in the sanctuary's library provided precisely the inspiration a child like Estel needed in a dull moment. The drawings and pictures adorning the worn pages seemed to waken creativity. And mischief. Countless items were thought hopelessly lost on account of the boy's propensity toward borrowing objects, everything from cloaks to carved spoons.
However, it was not mysteriously disappearing old cloaks or wooden spoons that bothered Erestor. It was the endless number of books which seemed to mysteriously never find their way back to their shelves.
