Ch. 9
The Crash…
Benji walked up to Joel in the hall, “Dude? Can we head home yet?”
Joel stood there and smiled watching him, “Yeah I think we should.” He looked down, “I will get everyone.”
“Can Tony come?” Benji asked quickly then looked to the side, “If I ask?”
Joel looked at him, “Dude.. Benj… He’s still on tour…”
Benji rubbed his arm, “Well, I know…” He looked at him, “But… I want to ask…”
Joel sighed, “Go ahead…”
Benji smiled, “Thanks bro!” He ran off
Joel watched him, “Oh boy..” He turned and ran off
Benji ran up to Tony, “Tony! Don’t go anywhere!”
Tony looked back at him, “Benji? Sup?” He smiled
Benji smiled and pointed back, “We are heading to the road, well, home… you wanna come?” He watched him
Tony watched him thinking. He looked down then looked at him, “Well…” He closed his eyes
Benji put his hands together and bounced on his feet a little, “Please!”
Tony laughed, “Benjamin Levi Madden begging lil old me?” He smiled pointing to his chest
Benji nodded, “Yes! I know I don’t have a Puss In Boots look like my bro but I still want you to come with all I give you right here!”
Tony nodded and tapped his foot, “Well…” He closed his eyes, “I guess…” He looked at him, “I could go…”
Benji smiled and hugged him, “Yay!”
Tony blinked then smiled hugging him, “You’re welcome.”
Benji pulled away and grabbed his hand, “Come on!” He started pulling him
Tony blinked, “Let me tell Matt and the band…”
Benji stopped and looked at him, he sighed deeply and let go, “Well you better hurry!” He smiled
Tony waved, “I’ll run!” He turned and took off running
Benji ran off
Joel walked up to Benji and grabbed him before he ran pass him, “Hey… Chris and Paul are heading off… They are going to take Billy’s things to his family.. and break the news… if they don’t know..” He sighed looking down then looked at him, “We need to head off in the tour bus…”
Benji blinked, “What are they taking?”
“Air plane… Chris insisted the air plane…”
Benji blinked, “Weird… but ok!”
Joel shrugged, “He coming?”
Benji nodded, “He needs to tell the band… you have Hilary getting ready?”
Joel nodded, “Yeah.. But she’s a girl so yeah.”
Benji laughed
Hilary walked up and hit Joel in the back of the head with her purse, “I’m here!” she glared at him
Joel rubbed the back of his head and mumbled, “Ow…”
Benji blinked and laughed, “Sorry bro didn’t see her coming…”
Joel glared at Benji then broke a smile
Hilary crossed her arms, “Lets go now…”
Tony ran up, “Here I am!”
Hilary blinked and pointed, “No way…”
Benji nodded, “He’s coming…”
She sighed and started walking, “Whatever… lets just get out of here before I die of boredom…”
Joel rolled his eyes, “Girls…” He started walking
Benji looked at Tony, “Come on..” He started walking
Tony walked after him
In the van
Joel sat in front driving
Hilary sat in the passengers side
Benji and Tony sat in the chairs in back. Benji looked at Tony and smiled
Tony looked at him and blinked, he smiled
Benji grabbed Tony’s hand
Tony looked at their hands and blinked as he was totally surprised, he soon smiled and tightened his grip a little
Benji looked at the trees passing by in the woods as they drove down a road… it was a little peaceful. No cars, houses, anything in sight, just trees. But Benji had a bad feeling
Hilary looked back and her mouth dropped, “What the fuck!” she stood up
Joel looked at her, “Hilary sit down!”
Hilary looked at Benji, “What the fuck are you doing!” She looked at Benji, “Let go of his fucking hand gay ass!"
Tony glared, “Gay ass? Nothing much from a girl!”
Benji looked at Hilary, “What’s your problem!”
Hilary looked at Benji, “You! You are holding his hand!”
Benji shrugged getting really pissed off, “So?”
Hilary grabbed their hands and pulled them apart, “You think I was just a piece of ass to fuck! So now you go for a gay fucker? Is that it!”
Joel looked back, “Hilary sit the fuck down!”
Hilary looked at Joel, “Shut up!”
Tony looked at her, “You wanna fucking die! What if we crash and you go flying! Get in your fucking seat Hilary!”
Hilary grabbed Benji, “I love him! Not you! You fucking gay wad!”
Benji pushed Hilary away, “Did the words Billy love you ring a bell! You cant just do that!”
Hilary looked at him, “Well Billy’s gone, dead, bye! I’m sorry that I care for you!”
Tony glared, “How can you say that about Billy Hilary!”
Joel grabbed Hilary’s shirt, “Sit the fuck down Hilary! What the fuck is your problem! Leave my brother and Tony alone now!”
Hilary turned around and glared, “Shut up Joel and don’t…” She looked up and pointed screaming, “What out!”
Joel looked forward
A deer ran out in front of them
Joel stomped on the breaks and the van started to turn the other way
Hilary flew forward and hit the head board and fell unconscious on the floor
Benji grabbed the seat, “Hilary!”
The van went fly down a hill smashing into any tree in the way.
Tony grabbed his seat, “Joel!”
Joel had his eyes closed, “Hold on!” He screamed
The van smashed into a huge tree making the back wheels come up then the whole van finally coming to a rest
Benji opened his eyes, he looked around then at Tony, “You ok?”
Tony opened his eyes and looked at Benji nodding, his hands shaking, “Y… Yeah…”
Benji unbuckled himself and looked at the shattered window, “Oh man…” He looked at Joel, “Joel?”
Joel’s head rested on the steering wheel, blood covered his whole face
Benji got up to him, “Shit! He hit his head against the wheel!” He looked at Hilary, “Hilary?! Are you ok!”
Hilary laid on the floor on her side her back facing them
Benji rolled her over carefully, “Oh god..”
Hilary’s face was also bloody but also her arms and legs, almost everywhere was cut and hurt
Benji looked at Tony, “We need to get them out of the van! Grab Hilary and I got Joel..”
Tony stood up and nodded, “Right!”
After a struggle they finally got Joel and Hilary out. Tony carried Hilary in his arms and Benji carried Joel on his back
Benji looked around at their surroundings, “Holy shit… nothing.. but trees…” He looked back at the hill, “With these two unconscious… that steep of a hill will just make us totally tired and we wouldn’t make it…” He looked at Tony
Tony looked at him, “So now what?”
Benji sighed and looked around then looked down the long stretch of trees, “We walk more down hill.. we went pretty far the ground will become level…” He started walking
Tony nodded, “Right…” He started following him
Benji looked at his pocket and reached down and pulled out his cell phone. He turned it on, “Maybe I can call someone to come and help us…” He waited
The phone turned on
“Come on.. show me some bars…”
The bars on the phone didn’t show up.. no signal at all
Benji sighed, “Great!”
Tony looked down, “Shit…”
Benji put his phone back, “We will just have to get through them ourselves Tony…” He looked forward, “Please… someone help us…”
The Crash…
Benji walked up to Joel in the hall, “Dude? Can we head home yet?”
Joel stood there and smiled watching him, “Yeah I think we should.” He looked down, “I will get everyone.”
“Can Tony come?” Benji asked quickly then looked to the side, “If I ask?”
Joel looked at him, “Dude.. Benj… He’s still on tour…”
Benji rubbed his arm, “Well, I know…” He looked at him, “But… I want to ask…”
Joel sighed, “Go ahead…”
Benji smiled, “Thanks bro!” He ran off
Joel watched him, “Oh boy..” He turned and ran off
Benji ran up to Tony, “Tony! Don’t go anywhere!”
Tony looked back at him, “Benji? Sup?” He smiled
Benji smiled and pointed back, “We are heading to the road, well, home… you wanna come?” He watched him
Tony watched him thinking. He looked down then looked at him, “Well…” He closed his eyes
Benji put his hands together and bounced on his feet a little, “Please!”
Tony laughed, “Benjamin Levi Madden begging lil old me?” He smiled pointing to his chest
Benji nodded, “Yes! I know I don’t have a Puss In Boots look like my bro but I still want you to come with all I give you right here!”
Tony nodded and tapped his foot, “Well…” He closed his eyes, “I guess…” He looked at him, “I could go…”
Benji smiled and hugged him, “Yay!”

Benji ran off
Joel walked up to Benji and grabbed him before he ran pass him, “Hey… Chris and Paul are heading off… They are going to take Billy’s things to his family.. and break the news… if they don’t know..” He sighed looking down then looked at him, “We need to head off in the tour bus…”
Benji blinked, “What are they taking?”

Benji blinked and laughed, “Sorry bro didn’t see her coming…”
Joel glared at Benji then broke a smile
Hilary crossed her arms, “Lets go now…”
Tony ran up, “Here I am!”
Hilary blinked and pointed, “No way…”
Benji nodded, “He’s coming…”
She sighed and started walking, “Whatever… lets just get out of here before I die of boredom…”
Joel rolled his eyes, “Girls…” He started walking
Benji looked at Tony, “Come on..” He started walking
Tony walked after him
In the van
Joel sat in front driving

Joel looked at her, “Hilary sit down!”
Hilary looked at Benji, “What the fuck are you doing!” She looked at Benji, “Let go of his fucking hand gay ass!"
Tony glared, “Gay ass? Nothing much from a girl!”
Benji looked at Hilary, “What’s your problem!”
Hilary looked at Benji, “You! You are holding his hand!”

Tony glared, “How can you say that about Billy Hilary!”
Joel grabbed Hilary’s shirt, “Sit the fuck down Hilary! What the fuck is your problem! Leave my brother and Tony alone now!”
Hilary turned around and glared, “Shut up Joel and don’t…” She looked up and pointed screaming, “What out!”
Joel looked forward
A deer ran out in front of them

Joel’s head rested on the steering wheel, blood covered his whole face
Benji got up to him, “Shit! He hit his head against the wheel!” He looked at Hilary, “Hilary?! Are you ok!”
Hilary laid on the floor on her side her back facing them

Benji looked at his pocket and reached down and pulled out his cell phone. He turned it on, “Maybe I can call someone to come and help us…” He waited
The phone turned on
“Come on.. show me some bars…”
The bars on the phone didn’t show up.. no signal at all
Benji sighed, “Great!”
Tony looked down, “Shit…”
Benji put his phone back, “We will just have to get through them ourselves Tony…” He looked forward, “Please… someone help us…”
