It's a Kind of personal story. Read if you want. Oneshot.
(#) JusAnothrFaceNThCrwd 2010-08-18 10:13:08 PMVery honest of you to admit that it's a personal story. I liked it.
On a side note, read your response to another review and here's what I have to say: I'm atheist... so my opinion is probably different from most, but I believe that there is nothing wrong with being gay, or just curious... or bi, or whatever.
I think that love and sex are the most basic human emotions & actions. I'm straight and married but if you are attracted to the same sex, or even both, I think it's perfectly natural.
And I think that there is no reason for you to feel guilty at all for those things. If there is a God, I can't imagine you being punished for something that is out of your control.
The saddest thing I ever heard was a gay friend telling me he would probably marry a woman so his parents wouldn't ever know he was gay. I can't fathom spending your life like that.
Sorry... that was a lot of typing.. I'm just very PRO gay rights and stuff, and I try to be supportive :)
- I totally agree with JusAnotrFaceNTheCrowd (I think I spelled that right...). I do believe there is a god (raised Catholic) but I believe that the whole "gay people are going to burn in hell" thing is ridiculous. I can relate to you feeling that way. The way the world is now labels everyone, and if you are a member of a stereotype, people are so unkind. I'm not sure if I'm making sense, but I hope you kind of understand what I mean. I often have doubts on my religion's beliefs, and don't think I'm going to get confirmed. I'm still trying to figure it out. I loved this, and I'm glad that you posted it. Being attracted to the same sex is totally natural, and like I've said before, "All of us is at least a little bi, some more than others." good for you! Gay rights all the way!
