Chapter 9
Dean stood between Cas and Sam. Katy stood behind him, shaking. Not only was she afraid of Lucifer, she was afraid of Castiel.
"No." Dean said.
"We have to stop it." Cas said.
"You're not killing them." Dean said.
"Why not?" Cas asked. Dean rolled his eyes. Did he really need to ask?
Dean motioned to Bobby, who got Ruby's knife and the Colt from a beg. He tossed the Colt to Dean and kept the knife for himself. Cas sighed.
"Those won't hurt me." He said.
"It'sfor self-defense." Dean said. "You and Sam were both in some horrible accident. You need to calm down and relax."
"I don't think he's listening." Bobby said. Dean looked over at him, then back at Cas.
"If it wasn't for Katy, we'd b demon food." Dean said. "Now, let's sit down and settle this like a human and an angel." Cas moved away from Dean towards the wall.
"Why don't you humans ever listen?" Cas asked. "I had more luck with Anna."
"Cas, I will not let you kill Sam." Dean said. "He's my little brother. I went to hell for him!" Cas sighed.
"Don't remind me." Cas said.
"Hey guys." Bobby said.
"What?!" Cas and Dean yelled together. They looked over at Bobby, who stood over Sam's bed.
"Sam' not breathing."
