Nobody in their right mind would hate you! Take as long as you need to update this story, I'm sure everybody will be willing to wait, because it is definitely a story worth waiting for!

Seriously,don't worry. We all are willing to wait,the main thing is that you do things in your own pace and what feels good to you. We'll never hate you. I know what you're going through.
