The moment I saw her walk out of that bathroom in that beautiful dress, I couldn’t help but envy the fact that this beautiful goddess was all mine and would never be in the arms of another man.
I knew that I should have told her how beautiful she looked but the words just wouldn’t come out of my mouth so instead we turned and walked down the hall towards the meeting room. Her beautiful dress caressed her tanned legs, causing it to fly around her body and slightly brush against my leg. I watched her eyes fill up with wonder and I couldn’t help but grin at the way a blush crossed over her cheeks.
She looked up at me smiling, and quickly grabbed my arm so that she could pull me down to her height. “Can we just go back to the room and hang out?” I couldn’t help suppress a laugh that built up in my chest. I watched her furrow her eyebrows then go on with her thoughts. “Please, I know that this isn’t going to turn out well! People are going to be yelling and I am so not in the mood to put up with that right now!” my smile disappeared and I looked at her, seriously contemplating the thought of leaving before anyone noticed us, and going back to our room so that I could ravish my beautiful angel. Before I could change my mind, I pulled Maria up over my shoulder, her small frame letting out a high pitched screech of surprise. Just as I turned to walk away, I herd the sound of the meeting room door opening caused me to falter in my steps.
I let my mind reach out to figure out who it was standing at the door. I could hear the sound of there shoes tapping on the ground. When Marias voice rang out threw the room I knew who it was. My arm clenched around Maria as I fought the erg to turn around and look at ‘her’.
“Is there something I can help you with?” I could hear the venom in Marias voice and knew right there and then that this wasn’t going to turn out well. ‘God I love her but sometimes she needs to keep her big mouth closed!’ I mentally yelled turning around to face Liza.
“Hello Liza.” It was all I managed to say before I felt Maria fidget in my arms. Without thinking I pulled her off my shoulder and dropped her to the ground. My only thought was to keep Liza from commenting on Maria.
I herd the loud thunk from Maria falling onto the ground but ignored it and kept my eyes trained on Liza. ‘Something about her is different, I just cant put my finger on it.’ I was brought of my thoughts when Liza decided to finally speak.
“I see shes not very gracefull, now is she?” I knew her tone was crude and hateful but I just kept my mouth shut and just decided to let out a forced laugh and turned to give Maria my hand.
Instead of grabbing it she smacked my hand away. “ I think I can manage.” She spat at me getting off the ground and walking into the meeting room, the door slamming closed behind her.
“Well aint she tempermental?” Liza laughed out walking up towards me and throwing her hands out like she was about to hug me.
“Don’t touch me Liza.” I pushed her hands away from me and turned to walk into the meeting room.
“let her cool off before you talk to her.” I turned my head to the side so that I could look at her and let my hand fall off of the door knob.
“What are you talking about?”
“You just let her fall on the ground and laughed at an insult I made about her. shes not going to be in the mood for lovey duvy stuff at the moment.” I watched her push back her bangs and look me in the eye. “ Id be carful, she looks like the type of girl that goes around fucking anything that talks, let alone walks.” I hated the way she said it but I knew that some where inside, I understood what she meant.
Before I could say anything else, Elizabeth, Gabe, Dona and Heath walked around the corner and over to where Liza and I were standing. We both smiled at them, hoping to escape any further conversation.
“You guys should hurry up, George isn’t going to wait much longer before he sends out a search party for you four!” I did my best to force the laugh out of my mouth.
Gabe was the one to answer. “ Ya, I could say the same for you two.” He gave both I and Liza an don’t-think-you-can-get-away-with-anything look then pulled Dona over to his with his arm around her waist. I watched a small blush wash over her face .
“Well see you in hell.” Elizabeth laughed, winking at Liza.
Gabe held the door open wile I and Liza walked threw, the first thing I saw was the pained expression on Marias face, then the I’m-going-to-kill-you look on Taras face. ‘ fuck I’m so in for it when were done here!’ I took a spot next to Liza. I watched as Tara looked over at George and asked him something. I wasn’t very interested in what she had to say so instead I tried my best to make eye contact with Maria. I watched her eyes swim past me and over to where Gabe, Dona, Elizabeth and Heath were standing.
Time seemed to slow down as I watched Maria smile as Gabe walked over to where she was sitting, he slowly leaned down to whisper into her ear. Yet the idea seemed to be a waste of time since he said the words loud enough for everyone to hear.
“You must be Maria? I was told that you were beautiful yet that word seams to bash your heavenly essence.” I watched the blush cross over her face as he pulled her hand up to his lips and placed a small kiss on her olive oil skin. I couldn’t suppress the growl that grew deep in my chest. ‘ how could a bastard who already has a life line be going after my woman!’ I got up from my seat and walked over to where the seen was playing out.
“ Gabe, I shall give you 5 seconds to take your hands off of her before I rip your throat out.” It took all my strength not to rip his throat out at that very moment.
. “ Don’t try to pull this shit with me, you cant go and flirt with some woman then come over here and get pissy because someone other then you takes interest in my being here. Please, go back to that girl over there and try not to indulge yourself into what is going on with my life.” The words she said stopped me mid thought. ‘why the fuck would she say that?’ I couldn’t believe my ears. ‘ there is no way that, that came from her, I must be imagining things!’ I looked into her beautiful eyes but found nothing but the truth about what she just said.
I couldn’t help but become pissed. I didn’t even bother to listen to what Gabe was now saying. Instead I just said the first words that popped into my head. “Hey don’t worry, its not that hard to win her over, she’ll give herself to anyone that will show some sort of affection towards her. she was able to hand herself over to Dan without any second thoughts. She even killed me in her dream with no remorse!” I spat out before returning to my spot beside Liza.
I watched as pain eminated off of my life line. I myself almost broke out crying from all the pain that she was now feeling. ‘ oh shit I cant believe that I just said that to her!’ I opened my mouth to appologise but I was stopped when she lifted her hand to her mouth and tried to suppress a sob. I pushed myself from the table and tried to get up so that I could comfort her but she did as I did only instead she ran from the meeting room. I let my eyes follow her to the door and felt my heart break from the pain that broke our connection.
