The Last Battle has been fought, and Harry Potter has won. The price, however, has been high. Nearly every person Harry cared for is dead, maimed, or otherwise injured. The magical culture of Bri...
- ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDINGLY AWESOME CHAPTER!!!!, I loved the chapter, I like how Harry found another way to get yet even more information that he so desperatly needs, I so can't wait for the next chapter, please update soon and do keep up the oustanding work:):):):)
Author's responseI don't know if he'll need the info or not; it's in part a trap door, put in just in case I need to use it, and a fun bit if I don't.
(#) selenepotter 2006-07-13 03:21:02 PMA very good chapter!
I can see that you got the sniper idea from Old soldiers never die.
If the snipers are illegal anyway, why not let some muggles in of the secret of the wizarding world?
Author's responseNow, now, we wouldn't want to break the one rule the entire magical world seems to honor, would we? (Letting Muggles unrelated to a magic user retain the info and live)
- Solid chapter. I like the forgotten bureaucracy. I'll be interested to see how that plays out. Harry and Hermione's relationship seems to be growing, I like how she keeps him grounded.
As always, it was an enthralling read and left me wanting more.
Author's responseThe sniper idea is in part a tribute to a fun author's fun story, and in part a trap door, planted in case it comes in handy later. If I don't actually use it in this story, I might in a later one.
- I like the thought of using Squibs or magic-related Muggles here and your arguement against them was interesting. I can't wait to see what comes of that information clearing house that Moody found. Also look forward to seeing how Voldemort responds to the fake Prophecy. Hmm, since it was stolen, what kind of internal outcry has come about because of it? Keep up the great work!
Author's responseAs I said in other reviews, the sniper idea is in part a tribute to a fun author's fun story, and in part a trap door, planted in case it comes in handy later. If I don't actually use it in this story, I might in a later one.
The internal outcry would be less than in canon, since it was to some degree anticipated.
- Very nice, especially the touch on adding in the part about the different houses voting on approving the cirrculum.
I loved the little dodge Harry used, and wish I could think on my feet like that in real life. Please continue to include little interludes like that, they remind us that Harry is human and give it a personal touch.
Great job again!
Author's responseThanks! Glad you liked it.
