They put the puppies back in the box, six of them, Saff gave Stefan a small towel to wrap Butch up in and gave him some instructions to tell his sister anything she didn’t already know.
“Right, and you’re sure i can take him for free?” he asked, Saff nodded,
“yep, anything to get them off of my hands” he smiled,
“thanks Saff, Lisa’s gonna love him” he stroked Butch’s head, Saff smiled back at him,
“i’m sure she will and hey, even if she doesn’t, there are six more pups waiting for a good home” she nodded at the box and Stefan laughed,
“yeah, good luck with those” Ash was saying his final goodbyes to the puppies and then the boys left, Saff looked into the box and shook her head at them sleeping.
When Jade got back, Saff was on the laptop,
“what’chya doin’?” she asked,
“making posters to help sell the puppies, where did you find them?” Jade smiled,
“they were on the doorstep when i came home at two, i didn’t know what to do but figured you’d have some idea” Saff nodded,
“fair enough, well i’ve already gave one away-“
“already?! Wow, that was quick” Saff shrugged,
“yeah well, anyway, i’m making flyers and stuff to sell the others, i’ve already put up about them on a few websites, they should be gone by the end of the month” Jade went into Saff’s room and came out holding one of the puppies,
“d’you not want to keep one?” she asked, sitting down with it, a boy, number three Saff had temporarily named him. She shook her head,
“it’s not a matter of whether or not i want to, it’s the fact that i don’t really have the time” Jade shrugged,
“fair enough, well, i don’t mind if you decide to keep one… Or two… Or even all of them” Saff rolled her eyes,
“i didn’t think you would but we’re not. Neither of us really have the time” Jade nodded,
“i guess you’re right” the printer beeped and started sliding out twenty puppy posters.
“There,” Saff said, picking them up and shuffling them, “i’ll make a new load with a different picture next week then we should start to get a few calls in, for now, they’re our puppies but no names, don’t get too attatched”
“okay” Jade replied, Saff looked at the puppy in her arms and sighed.
“Right, and you’re sure i can take him for free?” he asked, Saff nodded,
