" You two did a great job catching Ice. She's been put in a high security cell in lockdown." Scarlett said as Delilah and Julius entered Al's office.

" Yeah man, she won't be like digging her icey claws into anything for a long time." Al added.

" I'm just glad to get out of that cold." Delilah said, she was never really a big fan of getting frostbite.

" Well it's warmer here De." Julius said with his trademark smile that sent shivers down Delilah's spine.

" Speaking of which... you two are going to Florida." Scarlett said, pulling two airplane passes out of Al's desk drawer.

" Another case?" Delilah asked with exhaustion heavy in her voice.

" We are completely wiped from chasing-" but Julius' protest was cut of by Al.

" It's not another mission. We're sending you two on a two week, all expenses paid vacation. You totally deserve it after a year of hard work." he said.

" Wait. Vacation? To Florida?" Delilah repeated, not quite believing it.

" Yes. While you're enjoying the sweet south sun, Ursula and Emmett will be assigned to your cases." Scarlett replied.

" You two had better go like pack and get a good night's sleep. Your flights leave first thing." Al said.

Delilah and Julius got up and left the room while Scarlett and Al continued to talk. The walked towards their rooms and passed by Ursula on the way.

" So I heard that you two are going on vacation to Florida while me and Emmett have to do your missions." she said in her snobby, stuck up voice.

" Yep. Two weeks in Florida soaking up the sun and surfing. It's going to be a blast!" Julius said with enthusiasm.

Ursula just groaned and walked away. Delilah and Julius shrugged and went to their rooms to pack. Julius had finished packing first and went to see if Delilah was done too. Her door was open and grumbling could be heard down the hallway. Julius stopped in her doorway to see her room a mess.

" Uhh, need some help De?" he asked.

She poked her head out from her closet and saw the messy catastrophy that was her room.

" Oh, I was just looking for... something." she replied and disappeaed back into the closet.

" Can you believe it?" Julius asked as he walked over to her bed and sat on the edge.

" Believe what?" Delilah asked, still lost in the contents of her closet.

" A vacation. It's been a long time since we've actually gone somewhere where we're not trying to stop some physcotic villian from taking over the world or destroying humanity." Julius said with a small laugh.

" Yeah." Delilah said, sounding like she wasn't really paying much attention.

" You sure you don't want any help?" Julius asked, perring into her closet.

" No I'm fine. I know that it's here somewh... Aha!" she said as she emerged from the closet.

Momentarily she had forgotten that Julius was in her room, but she was instantly snapped back to reality and hid the item behind her back.

Julius raised an eyebrow. It wasn't like Delilah to keep secrets, especially from him! Her partner and best friend.

" Well, I think I'm going to call it a night. Al said the flight leaves early. Don't want to be tired." Delilah said as she ushered Julius out of her room.

" Okay. Night partner." Julius said as he stepped into the hallway.

" Uh, yeah. Night." she replied before shutting her door.

Julius just stared at the door oddly for a moment beofre heading to his own room.

Delilah sighed as she went and sat on her bed. She brought out her concealed item and sighed again. She lightly brushed her hand across the cover. It was an old scrapbook. It held every important memory that Delilah held dear to her heart. Everything from her childhood to her parents disappearing to every mission with Julius. She set the book on her desk and began to finish packing.

By the time that she had finished packing, and cleaning up the mess she had made, it was midnight. She sighed as she changed into her pajamas and slid into bed. She was completely exhausted yet she didn't fall asleep for hours. And when sleep finally did claim her, it wasn't pleasant. She had nightmares all night. Never ending, merciless nightmares.

Julius had gotten straight into bed when he went back to his room. Although he too was tired, he didn't fall asleep for quite some time. He kept thinking about Delilah's odd behavior. She was always so neat and organized yet her room looked like a war went on in there. She was always there to listen to him yet she had hardly heard a word he had said.

Then Julius' mind went to the book she tried to hid from him. What was in there that she couldn't share with him? They were partners after all. He thought that there was no secrets between them. Julius decided to sleep on it and ask her in the morning.

The next morning came fast, for Julius anyway. But he was so excited about a vacation that he didn't care. He grabbed his bag after showering and changing, then he headed to Delilah's room. He knocked on the door and waited for her to answer. When she didn't he knocked again.

" De? You awake? The flight leaves in an hour. Come on." he said anxiously.

Still he got no reply. He knocked again, louder this time. Again no reply. This wasn't like Delilah and Julius was starting to get worried.

" De? Delilah are you okay?" he called through the door, concern clearly in his voice.

" Julius?" Delilah's voice came from behind him.

" De! Uhh, you're up early." he said, trying to cover up that he was really, seriously worried about her.

She looked at him for a mintue before dismissing the fact that he was so worried about her.

" I'm always up before you." she replied playfully.

" But you normally don't get up until 8. It's only 7:30." he said.

" Couldn't sleep." she said, closing her eyes for a moment but they snapped back open when the memories of her nightmares flashed before her.

" Excited about the vacation?" he asked with a grin.

" Oh. Yeah!" she said, putting on a fake smile.

" Well let's go! We don't want to be late." Julius said like a kid.

" Okay, okay. Let me just grab my bag." she said walking past him to her room.

She closed the door slightly and Julius couldn't help but notice that it was a horrendous mess again. Delilah came back out adn started down the hall. When she noticed that he was still standing there, she turned and called to him.

" Are you coming or not?" she asked playfully.

As he snapped back to reality and ran down the hall after her she couldn't help but laugh a little.

The two had gotten to the airport 15 minutes early and were sitting in the airport waiting for their flight to come in. Delilah was impatienly tapping her foot. Julius noticed this and noted it as odd. She only did that if she was really mad and waiting for an answer.

" De? Are you okay?" he asked.

She seemed surprised but his question and took a minute before she answered.

" Yeah. Why?" she asked, looking at him confused.

" You seem.." he thought for a second for the right word, " ..preoccupied. Something on your mind?"

" No. Just ready to relax and lay in the sun." she replied.

" Okay.." Julius said, not satisfied with the answer he got. He knew that she was hiding something.

Their flight had come in before either of them could get another word out. So they boarded the flight and were off to Florida. The flight was your normal flight. Noisy kids, chatty people, sleeping and snoring people, the beautiful sights below. But the two agents had their minds on other things.

Julius had his mind where it normally was, thinnking of Delilah. And Delilah was thinking of her nightmares. She hadn't had one since her parents had gone missing.

The two landed in Florida a few hours later and took a taxi to their hotel. Then they checked in and went to their rooms. Julius' room was to the left of Delilah's. Through out the day her behavior had gotten stranger and stranger. Julius kept an eye on her.

It was about 6 and the two had planned the day before to have dinner together, just as friends. But at 5:30 Delilah had went to her room and locked herself in. This had Julius worried. He had knocked on her door many times but got no answer or any sign of life. He was really starting to think that something horrible had happened to her so he decided to check it out. He went into his room and walked out on to the balcony. Then he climbed over to hers and peered into the window.

Julius' mouth dropped open. It was empty. He went back to his room, over the balcony, and pulled out his phone. Then he contacted Al adn Scarlett.

" Al? Scarlett?" he asked when the other side was picked up.

" Julius? Shouldn't you be like enjoying your vacation man?" Al answered.

" Have you noticed anything odd about Delilah lately?" he asked.

" No. Why is something wrong?" Al asked, suspicion raising in his voice.

" No. Thanks Al. Bye." Julius replied.

" Okay man. And stop worrying. You're on vacation. Enjoy yourself man." Al said before hanging up.

Julius sighed heavily and decided to go for a swim. He stayed in the pool until 9 then decided to grab something to eat before turning in for the night. He decided to just get a burger and fries from a fast food place. Once that was done, he headed to his room. He pulled on pajama pants and fell onto his fluffy bed, just staring up at the white ceiling.

He couldn't sleep. Not when he knew that someting was wrong with Delilah. Delilah! He jumped off the bed and ran to the balcony. He needed to see if she was back yet and then interigate her. His spirits were dropped again as he found her room still empty. He pulled himself back to his own room and flooped down on the bed. After an hour or so he fell asleep.

Julius was dreaming sweet dreams about kicking butt on all his missions with Delilah. Then he was abrutly awoken by the sound of someone cursing loudly and something hitting, but not breaking, glass. Julius realized that it was coming from Delilah's room. He got out of bed and went to her window, over the balcony again, to see if it was her and if she was in trouble.

But she wasn't she was just getting into bed. Julius sighed in relief that she was okay and not at the mercy of on eof their enemies. He went to jump back to his room when his hadn slipped on the railing. he held his hand close to his face and saw that his hand had slipped in blood. His eyes shot back to Delilah. She was up and coming towards the balcony.

Julius hurridly jumped over the railing adn dashed into his room. He quickly shut the door behind him and leaned against the wall. He listened. Delilah had opened her door, then a few seconds later he heard it close. Julius climbed back into his bed and laid their for a moment. He had forgotten about the blood on his hand when Delilah had startled him.

It didn't take long before he had fallen back to sleep, only this time it was a very uneasy one.

The next morning Delilah woke early and headed over to Julius' door. She knocked quite loudly, knowing that he was a sound sleeper. But today he woke with a jolt. Not from excitement but from fear. The past night's events still fresh in his mind, he walked over and answered the door.

" Hey partner!" Delilah greeted him cheerily.

" Delilah? What time is it?" he asked groggily.

" It's 8." she replied.

" What happened to you last night?" Julius asked, a little more awake now.

" Oh, I was really tired from the long flight and decided to turn in early. Get a head start on today." she beamed at him.

" Okay. Hey De?" he said.

" Yeah?" she asked.

" Are you okay lately? You seem.... I don't know not yourself." he asked, careful of his choice of words.

" What do you mean? Of course I'm fine! Don't you trust me?" she retorted with a hurt look in her eyes.

Then she stormed away. Leaving Julius to satnd in his doorway very confused. 'What's going on with you De?' he asked himself as he retreated int his room.
